The amazing part of the food bill was my mango lassi was same price as the main dish of brain masala which was really strange.mango lasso was the most expensive item we offered and we had also Sagg with lamb chops .Very very odd. 2 people cost us 50 dirham not worth that much for greasy food

I ate at the same restaurant in Karama, years ago and was pleased to find another one local to where I was staying. The food is great and lots of it. I had chicken sharhi korma, pilau rice and a butter naan for £6 and it was as much as I could each. It’s very close to Baniyas Square metro.

My cravings for authentic Pakistani food ends here! Love their chicken kebab curry with roomali roti and salad. Comfort food to the soul! The roomali roti is light, fresh, served hot and one of the best I have had in dubai. This place might bot have the ambience or crowd but definitely has good food! For vegetarians wondering what could... More

In the area near my hotel (Royal Creek Garden) there were no restaurants to feast in. After having travelled Makkah and Medina, trying out all the local dishes, our Indian taste buds were missing our desi food. The first night in the Dubai, our friends recommended this place to us. We ordered their famous haleem, and believe me it was... More

Quite bad. Expectations were similar to Ravi & Eagle, however, this one was disastrous. Unpalatable food & stuff debited which we never asked for but they served on their own without checking. I can't visit them ever again.

Many variety of Mughlai, Indian & Pakistani tasty dishes to enjoy at relatively cheaper prices & with quick delivery. Fresh & Hot Tandoor roti, nan, paya, haleem, Nihari & kadhai ghost / chicken etc are worth trying.

I absolutely love this place. Whenever I go to Bur Dubai I have to go to this place. The Haleem is to die for. Everytime I go to Karachi Darbar I always order Haleem and some other dish. My visit is incomplete if I go to Karachi Darbar and don't have Haleem. Recommend to have with roti. The service and staff... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
