Popped in for a coffee and dessert, the service is really good and the place is very clean. If you're a Turkish cuisine lover, that's a place you will not regret trying.

Let me list what we had: Lahmacun: as expected, fine Vegetable borek: no flavour, dough was uncooked inside Fattus: nice vegetables, tasteless dressing. Izgara kofte: meat was fine. Sauce was like tomato soup, tasteless Yogurtlu kebap: 75 of if was bread. Meat had gristle . Taste of meat was ok Service was very slow. Disappointing to say the least.

If you love the oriental food , if you like to have Turkish food or you like to bring back your memories of you last visit to Istanbul, then try Kosebasi. I enjoy the Turkish breakfast at this place and the prices are quite good.

We called in for early supper, looking for something different, we weren't disappointed and ended going back twice more during our 10 night stay. The staff were extremely attentive, the food very tasty and really good value. On our first two visits the manager came over to see if everything was OK, a nice touch.

It was my Mum's last night in Dubai, and we still hadn't had any Arabic food, we wanted hummus and grilled meat, so this Turkish restaurant was the next best thing to Middle Eastern tradition. We ordered hummus and the bread was fantastic, we also ordered a salad which I loved the way it was chopped up with parsley, it... More

The portions are big, the choice is pretty good. My favourite Turkish restaurant. I do not like the JBR branch because of the service and the crowd, and it's a shame Sharjah branch and Abu Dhabi branches were closed down. The prices were affordable, competitive and the taste is certainly good. Sahara Mall branch also had a great atmosphere.

Thank Eva S

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
