This is my favorite restaurant of all time in Dubai. My top picks are usually Iga Balado and Mie Ayam. Majority of food are Indonesian authentic and so rich in taste. Will always be coming back again :)

Went with my Indonesian wife, so no bluffing here, as she was home culinary-sick due to the fact that we live in Italy. The food is authentic Indonesian without any doubt so if you this is what you are looking for search no longer. Unsophisticated ambience with outside eating that may be spoiled by the occasional fly. Note: i have... More

Since I came to this country 5 years ago immediately friends brought me to this place, they said now you are ok, after sometimes you will crave some Indonesian food. Since then it's my "home food" reliever official place. Here is about this place...I always start with Batagor some kind fried tofu mix dumpling with peanut souce (which is yumm)... More

My only complaint is that the decor cheapens the experience. As the food is 5 star, simple menu with enough choice and not too much. Having read the previous reviews we ordered 4 mains for two (we miss asian food!). The beef/coconut soup was our favourite, the gado gado was a bit spicy for me but husband loved it. Lamb... More

Try their "Soto Betawi" it's a beef soup in coconut gravy, the taste is very good. and try also the "Es Cendol" it's a traditional sweet beverage made from brown sugar, coconut milk and green pasta. although the place is small, but the ambiance is OK.

The location which is shown here is indeed wrong. The right location is as 'Noel_from_india' said. The food is cheap, main courses are approximately 25 dhs, and the food is tasty, but maybe a little simple. We were both happy that we weren't extremely hungry, or else 1 main course might not have been enough.

First time in Dubai and though I checked the map on Google, I stil got lost in Karama. Anyway, found a local map and figured out where it is. The place was decent, clean, crowded. Get thre early. Some people who came after us were turned away. The restaurant ran out of food. We got there at 9 pm. The... More
