In brief I don't think the restaurant would've had a business if it was not to the tour guides who bring people to it. The staff went out of their way to explain to us what they on offer and in English. However, the grilled fish they promoted was too dry, had no sauce, or seasoning at all and on... More

this is where the locals go. it's good food, fresh and priced right. we've found that the waiters and waitresses in most restaurants in chile are not real aggressive. they'll do anything for you if you ask but they may not come by to check on you as often as you'd like. but they don't seem to mind if you... The food was just ok, the service was terrible. Part of the order arrived when we were already done. Not the best place in Viña

Tour guide brought us here like 90 percent of the people leaving reviews. Food was average at best and expensive.I ordered a fish entree but it was dry and chewy, so didn't eat it. I kept feeling bad for everybody walking in to the tourist trap. A group of six actually sat down next to us and I guess read... More

First that under 36c the restaurant was with the AC broken. No window to open. Food: Tasty far away of their prices but food is not bad Attendance: terrible, lack of attention, delay on orders. The last and worst they didn't have WATER TO SELL.

This restaurant is a gem. I We walked to the restuaurant all the way from Viña del Mar because friends told us it was the only place to try Pastel de Choclo in the traditional way, served in an old style dish straight from the oven. Out only problem was that we ordered one each, one to share would have... More

Like almost everyone else who has reviewed this restaurant, I too was brought here by my tour guide. The promise was an authentic Chilean meal, and the other diners in the place were definitely locals. Of course, everywhere in the world, local places tend not to be gourmet places. Local food, also called comfort food, tends to have a rustic... More

We were on a private tour to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar and brought to this place by our guide. I can only repeat what many others have commented before me; cantine style food of low quality, expensive and yes; the prices include the meal and drinks for the guide.... BUT most of all I'm angry about myself - why... More

Our tour guide brought us here as part of our Valparaiso and Vina del Mar day tour. I found the atmosphere very well lit and cozy. They had a fire pit with an apple roasting for extra aroma. I found the food delicious, but yes, a bit pricey. But for a mixed seafood bowl and cup of tea, I would... More

Loved the local atmosphere and wonderful food. We had a local with us who took us in there and we enjoyed every moment. They even had a lovely young lady singing and playing the ukulele.
