This is a fun place to go, the food is great, the margaritas amazing and the bartenders are personable; what else could you ask for?

I ordered chilaquiles and it was a stack of crappy tortilla chips with hardly anything on them. Definitely not a smothered chilaquiles plate. It was gross. You have to order everything separately, as they seem to think tapas also applies to Mexican food. My husband ordered enchiladas and there were two small enchiladas with what seemed to be pasta sauce... More

This place was so good. As native Texans my wife and I are accustomed to excellent Mexican food...these were hands down the best tacos we've ever had. We ordered the Al Pastor and Beef tacos. Beef was exceptionally tender and delicious, generous portions of avocados and whatever else was on there. So good. Al Pastor: I had never had pork... More

We had dinner here and while the atmosphere is nice enough, given where people wait for tables (the restaurant does a great business and people are waiting), it is a fairly loud restaurant, which at times makes it just a bit tougher to hear. The food is small plate Mexican, meaning you order a good number of dishes and share... More

Was told the wait would be 1.5hrs but ended up being 40min. Small space so it can get loud but fun atmosphere for couples or friends. Food was good and service was excellent. Don't be afraid of the proposed wait time. Worth the wait.

I don't really like tapas because they're so overpriced, but this was pretty good in terms of food and flavor, just not value in my opinion. Upside: you can try new things that are unique. Downside: tiny portions, maybe trying too hard? This is NOT the kind of place you go when you you want a big plate of Mexican... More

Dining at Isalita's has become part of my birthday tradition and celebration with my daughter for our Girls' Day out. The food is mouth-watering scrumptious. We've started to settle on some favorites including the Macho Nachos Appetizer, Mushroom Quesadillas and Sweet Plantains (for dessert). I skipped the Tortilla Soup this year as it is very filling. We never need take-home... More

Dinner with family. Enjoyed about 9 different items from the menu including dinner. Enjoyed the food. Felt is was good but not great. Liked the mushroom hurarache the most. I preferred the cauliflower taco the least.

Great spot for a margarita or dinner. Exceptionally loud inside, which is a distraction. Service is attentive.
