I never travel to AA without having lunch or dinner there. Best Mideastern food I ever had. Also the best garlic sauce ever! And great service

Food is great, and the service is even better. This palce offers a variety of lunch option for reasonable price. Waiters remember your food preferences.

My daughter is a student at U of M and lives about 3 blocks from Ali Baba. We had seen it numerous times and finally decided to stop in. The chicken shwarma was some of the best I've ever had, and the hummus, tabouli, and falafel were really great too. Best part was the bill, which was extremely reasonable. Within... More

I live in southfield but work in Ann Arbor, every Thursday is Ali Babas day for lunch. I always get the fattoush salad with shawarma chicken and I find I don't need the dressing cause the favors are so wonderful without. I wish they had a restaurant near or in southfield/Farmington/Bloomfield Hills area 😞 as I have tried several other... More

My friend and I were meeting on my way out of Ann Arbor on a Sunday afternoon for a kind of brunch. We got the veggie platter ($24.99) to split between the two of us. Value was comparable to most other Lebanese restaurants I've been too (seems pricey, but where else are you going to get this amazing food). Pricing... More

I ate here several times during my week's stay and didn't stray too far from the entrée salads. Fresh spinach, deliciously spiced chicken--all good.

My co-workers and I decided that Mediterranean sounded good and we wanted to eat near University of Michigan so we could go see the sights there. We decided on Ali-Baba. We walked in and were able to sit wherever we wanted. The restaurant is small and the parking is tight, but it was nice to have parking while we ate.... More

Love the chicken shawarma, and have never been disappointed with other menu items either. The sampler plate is another favorite. Also recommend the greek salad. Ali Baba and Jerusalem Garden are my two "go to" places for Mediterranean food in Ann Arbor (generally speaking, I prefer meat options at Ali Baba and vegetarian options at Jerusalem Garden).

My family has been going to ali baba's on packard in ann arbor for almost 20 years. It is a great option for both carnivores and vegetarians. Everything I have had here is good, including the burgers and fries. One of my favorite dishes is chicken with baba (ganoush) - sauteed chicken tenders with pine nuts. my companion loves the...
