I recently grabbed a late breakfast at Fleetwood Diner. The quirky charm didn't really do it for me. I ordered the meaty hippie hash and thought it was just okay, and too expensive for what it was. Personally, I'd stick to Waffle House.

The Fleetwood Diner is for the old Ann Arbor people and newbies who want to live the late night life. Funky it is but the food is always good. Service is friendly. I have gone to the Fleetwood off and on since 1996--having lived in...More
Walked by this place and found exactly what I was looking for while not knowing what I wanted for dinner. Got a great burger and fries for super cheap and was very happy. Don't necessarily agree with their politics, but got their humor and appreciated...More

I really thought that I had seen the last of the American Diner. There are plenty of modern imitations but the Fleetwood is the real deal. The black and white tiling to the serving bar and the red topped stools just as they were probably...More
I ate breakfast here 30 years ago and I ate breakfast here today for the first time since then. Just the same, just as funky, just as unique. Highly recommended any time of the day.
I was fairly drunk, upon visiting this place. Service was patient, at a time when I can see plenty of servers losing theirs. Food was decent and cheap. Good experience.
This little diner has been in Ann Arbor since the late 1940's. A few tables and counter inside, additional seating under outside awning. Don't judge a book by it's cover. The walls are covered in stickers, the waitress tends to be sarcastic, but the food...More
