We went there for dinner while staying in Chatham. The restaurant decor looks like freeze in time from 1960's or 1970's which I like. The entrees tasted good but kind of pricey. I didn't expect to pay $24 for a half roast duck. At least it tasted good. There was a problem: the French Onion soup was so salty that... More

This place always delivers. I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Tons of things to pick from on the menu. Check it out.

All good at this nice restaurant between Munising and Marquette on the main highway along the south shore of Lake Superior. During the week I stayed in the little town of Au Train, I discovered this place and had an excellent dinner: ribeye, baked potato, vegs with add-on mushrooms for < $20. I was there close to closing time but... More

The Brownstone Inn is an old log cabin that has been made into a restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is as charming as the outside. We were there on a very cold, snowy night, and the fire was roaring! The food is fantastic, and has a very varied menu. The prices were a little above what I would consider... More

The Brownstone was recommended to us. It was a really good place to eat. The restaurant was for sale in October 2016 when we went, I do not know if it is still open. The food was great. We had the veggie lasagna. The Brownstone is a very old building, the bathrooms are dated, but very clean. The building has... More

We were glad we made a reservation for Friday night dinner, because the restaurant was really busy. The food was quite good, and the service really outstanding. The bar, inside the restaurant, was also full of pretty relaxed folks just enjoying Friday night. It's a short drive from Munising, and definitely worth the ride. We will definitely go back the... We were on vacation just down the road from this restaurant. I noticed it in our travels and wanted to take it in. So glad we did. The food was excellent, and so was our server. If we ever go to this area again, we will go back again. No doubt.

Munising but doesn't come up on searches for restaurants in Munising on trip adviser. We were lucky to have found it and it was a great experience. Reasonable prices with excellent food. Highly recommend
