My wife and I tried it for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. I had a pizza and my wife a grilled cheese with fries. For a place that is almost in the middle in Nevada they offer a good value for the money. The only down side was the waitress seemed to be inexperienced, but all in... More

Limited hours and many menu items were not available on our visit. We had pizza with ample toppings, homemade soup, and homemade french fries. Beer and wine were on the menu in addition to fountain/soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Reasonably priced.

Cindy at the Cozy Mountain Motel told us that this restaurant would be open until 7pm when we called for reservations. We walked from the motel for dinner. We chose to have a medium supreme pizza. It was an excellent choice. Our host was very friendly and quick to service us as well as chat. We would be pleased to... More

The International Cafe is an interesting place to stop for a meal. The people are very nice and accommodating, the menu has lots of choices and the food is good. Over half the diners were 'visitors' and the rest were locals. The food came out quickly. One of us ordered a grilled cheese with fries which was good and the... More

We ate here because it was the only place open for dinner after 6 PM in Austin NV. They were slammed since all three motels were full, about 30 rooms total. The staff of two did the best they could to handle the crowd, and they had opened in spite of some serious family issues. But the food, when it... More

part of this place was brought here from Virginia City and rebuilt, although very friendly and cold beer, it does need some work (clean-up) - has a restaurant attached (we didn't stop in)

Sometimes they just close during the hours you'd expect them open. Ask them why they tell you they don't need your business. So ok. The place is generally dirty and the managers or owners are usually drunk.

Having driven for hours on Hwy 50 "Americas Loneliest Road" we needed food and a cold drink, so when we arrived at Austin we decided to take a break. Now, arriving in Austin was like arriving back in time. It's fantastically preserved and olde Worlde. There were two places we found for food, but decided this place had more character.... More

We stopped in Austin on the way to Death Valley. Our previous stop in Austin had included dinner up the road at the Toiyabe Inn but it was closed for some reason so the International Café was our only option. The dinner had the feel of something from Hotel Hell. We had to ask to have the table cleaned but... More
