The environment was good, spacious and nicely decorated. However, the food turned out to be quite a disappointment. Besides, the price was not so friendly if compared with the food. With similar price, we had better food at the Khmer’s restaurant. Not recommended if you...want to try out the real local taste.More

This gorgeous colonial style restaurant was a perfect retreat after a very hot morning of temple tours at Angkor. Dark timber floors, multiple ceiling fans, open shuttered windows and high ceilings create a wonderful escape, especially in the afternoon. The menu was extensive and featured...lots of Khmer dishes. The fish Amok was a highlight, really delicious and slightly more spicy than the local style and it was definitely worth the wait. The entrees, salad and vegetables were excellent and the fresh lime soda was very refreshing. Worth a visit.More

Excellent food, great service, and wonderful ambiance. You can be regaled by stories of how the chef has taught Gordon Ramsey when he visited Cambodia!

Enjoyed their iconic “fish amok” and squid & peppers. The amok has every Vietnamese spice together with fish, coconut milk and egg, then steamed and is virtually a souffle, magnificent. A photo on the shelf next to us of a very young Gordon Ramsey with...the creator of the dish, who still owns the restaurant with her husband. The squid also excellent with long strands of peppercorns providing a great taste. Great restaurant with atmosphereMore

It was worth walking in the heat to search for this amazing restaurant! Food was prepared so delicately by the chefs and the waitresses gave us so much attention to accommodate our needs. Food was beautifully presented to us and we enjoyed every bit of...the experience!More

While tourism is slow in Siem Reap right now due to the coronavirus, The Sugar Plum was packed with people and for good reason. The food and the service are both excellent. The servers were friendly and spoke good English. One server was able to...describe how the various dishes were prepared and the ingredients used. The food was wonderful. The Fish Amok is the best we’ve tried and prepared to order. The minced pork with eggplant was delicious as well and the eggplant tasted as though it came directly from the garden. Highly recommended.More

What an amazing place. Great atmosphere, beautiful quiet space. Staff was so nice and friendly. Last but not least... food was wonderful. All this at a very reasonable price. For sure our best restaurant experience in Cambodia.

It is rare to get a deliciously different dish. Ever more so to get two at the same meal! We started with green mango with dried fish salad. Yum yum. Unique. Great! Beef sticks good too. Khmer curry was also good. Smooth. But the grilled...eggplant with minced pork stole the show. Another unique and delicious dish. Go here.More
