This was by far the best food we had in Siem Reap. We tried a few other highly rated restaurants and they were really terrible - touristy and bland. The food here was authentically Khymer and really tasty. Personally, the deserts weren't sweet enough for...More

We tried the Marum restaurant and we were not disappointed. They serve some delicious food, we could share and had good wine list. And the service was excellent. And then it supports a good project - what’s not to like?? Recommendable!

Lovely atmosphere - teaching restaurant. Service with a smile, amazing food. A must when in Siam Reap. They also have a gift shop that sells upcycled crafts made by locals - prices are reasonable and items worth a look for 'non-touristy' gifts/souvenirs.

We went there because of the good recommendations. The food and service was good. Unfortunately the dishes are very small and we left still hungry.

Very interesting concept as it is a teaching restaurant with staff wearing teacher or student t shirts. Service and food very good and quite cheap. Nice tables in the garden

Food was great, service was great and all for a great cause! We loved the combination of Khmer traditional dishes, and the fusion Khmer food. All dishes were divine but try the eggplant dip! So so good!

The atmosphere is lovely, with seating i side and out, well spaced out. You can wait on couches if there aren’t tables available when you first arrive, though I’d recommend booking! On top of the service and food being fantastic, the social enterprise behind it...More

We were recommended this restaurant and it felt good to put our money into students being trained in the hospitality arena and it was worth the tuk tuk ride there. We had the set menu for 15 dollars pp and loved every course. Service was...More

As a teaching restaurant, the staff were most attentive. Part of the friends group, students are checked by teachers so we received amazing service. The food was delicious ....try the deep fried ants....will definitely look for other friends restaurants in Asia

Wow, treat to have had the opportunity to enjoy a meal at Marum. I wondered if it being a training spot would somehow distract from the experience. No danger as all the staff was excellent and committed to making the meal special. Simply great food.

Description
Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!
