We went here because we wanted to try some Russian food in Harbin. Going to this place was the worst decision during our weekend there: the food is expensive but microwaved and bland. We ordered the borshtsh (which was enough to maybe fill a toddler's stomach), salmon roe (which comes without bread, just as the borshtsh), and the stuffed cabbage... More

This small cafe is full of photos and memorabilia from early last century. The food is standard Russian fare such as sausage and soup so not fancy but it's fine and definitely worth it for the ambience. I was there 12 years ago for the ice festival and it was a great place to warm up after exploring the chilly... More

This is a place for tourists to loiter in the ambiance, surrounded by antiques and memorabilia. The offerings are really expensive cafeteria food.

We went to Russia Cafe because a friend had recommended it and it was in all travelling guides. But the experience was very disappointed, they hardly had any of the food offered in the Menu, and from the few things they had, the quality was very bad. On top was very cold inside the restaurant, so we never took off... More

Heard good things about this pace and went there for lunch. The food is average - the borscht and stew had the same ingredients. The ambience is very nice and the servers are pleasant but no English spoken. I asked for a desert menu and they had none - it would be nice if they had bread with meal. Paid... More

We were looking forward to some Russian fare whilst in Harbin. Found the cafe, walked in and was instantly pleased with the decor and ambiance. That's where our pleasure ended. The menu was extensive but each item I requested was not available. I finally settled for Russian meatballs. The picture looked appealing enough with meatballs floating in a plate of... More

The best part of out meal at this restaurant was laughing about how awful it was. First off, the menu is not very extensive, but I found a few things to order for us. This ambiance, I will say, is quite nice, so we were going to look around while our food was being cooked - but to my surprise,... More

Like others, we went here on the Lonely Planet recommendation. We had to wait to get a table because it was so popular. While the interior decor is interesting, the menu is limited and the food was average. Difficult to get the attention of the staff. Overall disappointing and not worth your time.

This is one experience I would like to foget. We were looking forward to this one as suggested by lonely plant and few other similar travel inmformatives. We went here for evening dinner, which we were super excited about . From outside the place looks appealing but once you enter you would feel not too impressed. It’s much smaller than what we... More

I never usually write reviews of restaurants on trip advisor, but this was so bad I have to. The place looks great (both outside and inside) but the food is overpriced and terrible. We seem to have had a similar experience to other people on trip advisor - half of the menu wasn't available, and the food that we ordered... More
