I have been going to this Rancherito location near the MDE airport for at least 10 years. I love everything about this place -- service, atmosphere, food, people, menu, willingness to change items to accommodate requests, etc. If you stay at the Movich hotel near the MDE airport, then take the short walk to Racherito, you won't be disappointed. You must stop here right out of the airport. Ambience is perfect for this amazing city. This place has must of all the traditional colombian dishes and is great on a budget. Lots of food for the money specially with current currency exchange. Must try Bandeja paisa, I know its huge but you will love it.

I actually liked the food in the restaurant. The atmosphere is a bit unusual for American person point of view but food is great. I had grilled chicken (Pollo parilla) and it tasted great. The waiter was super friendly and willing to take time to understand our very bad Spanish . There is no menu in English but it has... More

Tour bus stops here for breakfast. The tortillas are so hard that you can't eat them. The cheese and eggs are ok. The restaurant is clean. Not very friendly at all. Not even a hi, thank you, or a smile. Go else where

Food is just the best in town as well when you go south or north. You can see how they cook and prepare the dishes. Prices are good

Nice place to eat, especially if you’re on your way to the airport. Although the restaurant is big, you may find it full of costumers during the weekends. The Ajiaco colombiano is delicious and don’t miss the different types of parrillada. My one disappointment was their “typical frijolada”. I am a huge fan of colombian red beans and the ones... More

I have been a loyal customer for years and have never been disappointed, food is consistently good and prices are competitive. I always have casuela de frijoles and love it.

When arriving to Medellin or when visiting its amazing surrounding towns, you got to visit El Rancherito. The bandeja Paisa maybe one of the best you can find, also the empanadas will make you a big fan of them.

They are constant with their quality. Rarely goes wrong. For paisa food, reliable quality Rancherito and Asados Exquisitos never fail.
