Have been coming to Avalon for years and no summer is complete without a stop (or 5) at Kohlers! We usually get the cinnamon buns, cinnamon twist donuts and cream filled donuts are they are best around. No one can compare to these.

Cinnamon buns (sticky buns) are the best ever. Crumb buns are outstanding and unlike any place else. Lemon Danish, jelly donuts, and chocolate crullers are all so good. Best coconut macaroons I've ever had. Well worth the wait. Go early for less of a wait time.

Kohler's was recommended so we had to go. It was very busy on a Friday morning but the line moved quickly. Donuts and Danish were delish!

This is the best place on the island for bakery items. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Usually lots of people early in the morning but the line moves quick. Cash or check only. You can also preorder.

It goes without saying that Kohlers has incredible donuts, coffee cake and sticky buns, but if you come up with a suitable occasion, be sure to order a cake! Vanilla or pound cake with Buttercream frosting! Tastes homemade and delicious!!

Don't be frightened by the long lines outside before they open at 8am. Today I was #41 and I had our load of sticky buns and more and out the door in 14 minutes These are the world standard for sticky buns. Believe me from Germany, Ireland and even in Bangkok I search them out and although they are all... More

I've never been a fan of cream donuts before, I've always thought they were too sweet (I've only had Dunkin Donuts cream donuts...yech). Kohlers has changed my perspective completely. The cream is lightly sweet, the dough is the best I've ever had in a donut. Beware though, the line starts early. They open at 8am, but the line starts around... More

Of all the bakeries we've tried in Avalon and Stone Harbor over the past 30 years, this is the best. Their selection is modest, consisting of donuts, pastries, sticky buns, and a few other things, but everything is superior. Three recommendations in particular: raspberry-filled jelly donuts (perhaps the best jelly donut you'll ever eat, both as to the pastry itself... More

WOW! SO many delicious options! Been going here for years now. We've loved everything we've gotten there, but the cream donuts, sticky buns, and crumb cake are our favorites. Their round loaf and snowflake rolls are also out of this world. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is a definite gem at the shore! Can't wait to go... More
