Another excellent meal at Royal Seafood. This restaurant is still our family favorite place for great chinese dishes.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we were glad that we got there just before their busy lunch hour! There were a wide selection of dim sum dishes and they were suited us fine! I expect this place to be well patronized if they keep up with the quality of their food and the friendly service!

Royal Seafood is a regular stop for our office staff birthday celebrations. We do family style around the 10-person round table. Trying and sharing different dishes is the greatest joy for everyone. I'd come back with my family to offer them what I've enjoyed. I consider this as a cultural experience and appreciation.

Place gets very busy within an hour after it opens on Sunday. Plan accordingly. We arrived exactly at 10 am Sunday and had the place to ourselves for 15 minutes. Before 11 am, the place was packed! After we ate we knew why. Dim sum was just as good as NYC Chinatown and no hassle from toll and traffic. Will... More

We enjoy going there from time to time. We are not Chinese but have been treated well by the staff. They have been very nice to my granddaughter, who is now 2 and a half.

We arrived famished at Newark airport after a long flight. Rather than grab a quick hamburger, I remembered seeing this restaurant on the way up to the airport and decided to give it a try. When we arrived there was just one large party wrapping up their dinner. We sat down reluctantly thinking that maybe they were about to close... More

It's a traditional Chinese Restaurant, not American Chinese, the Pork chops or Salt and pepper shrimp are amazing.

Our guide chose the restaurant because he wanted to meet a former colleague. Since we are a big group of 20 people, he bargained to have a 10% discount. The kids wanted to sit on a separate table and order A big mistake. The waiter was not happy that four kids only ordered three plates - all heavy meat -... More

The atmosphere in this restarant was old school from the start, linen table cloths and napkins. Several waiters serve you amazing food, the portions are large, there is no skimping on the meat and sea food. We traveled to Rahway to visit my mother in an assisted living facility what an awesome way to relax after a long trip.

There are really no good places for dim-sum in NJ. I had heard of this place from a Chinese colleague so was excited to try it. It was just terrible food. Very greasy and they do not use real meat in their dim-sum dishes. Their beef meat balls as an example is likely mostly breading and soy filler b/c it... More
