Deception after so many good reviews. Looks like thee changed something in the management. The steak was tough to chew on and the beans almost raw. The tapas of shrimp and chicken were absolutely unfresh

We visited Gaya after Shiraz as I fancied dessert and our driver recommended it. There is quite an extensive menu, one for lunch, one for dinner, a dessert and drinks menu. We ordered the butterscotch and walnut cheesecake with ice cream on the side, mud pie with ice cream, a cappuccino and an Expresso Pot of coffee. Desserts were good,... More

By far the most elegant restaurant in the area. The food is fantastic and the house wine was very nice and good value. A must when in the area.

We were really looking forward to our trip to Gaya after reading the previous reviews. On first impressions we were not disappointed, it seemed to be a haven of piece, tranquility and opulence away from the strip. The menu selection was good, and the selection of cocktails and after dinner drinks was very impressive. We were the only customers in... More

Every time we visit The Gambia we go to Gaya Art Cafe which has become a special favourite. We were recently in The Gambia over Christmas and lunch here a Christmas Eve was the complete antidote to life at home. The place has a very laid back feel but everything is immaculate and the food is very good , especially... More

We read many excellent reviews so had dinner here one night. The food was fine but not great. It was more expensive than most places in the area. You can eat inside where the decor is eclectic and interesting, or on the patio. But it is on the main highway so there is not view.

Beyond our expectations. Gaya is a very nice European style restaurant with amazing food. We had three starters and drinks and it was great. All very fresh and delicately arranged. The restaurant itself has a very good atmosphere both inside and outside. Amazing and friendly staff. Will surely visit again.
