Serves only south Indian, has congested space to seat for 20 people. There were only meals and Rice variety available at lunch time. The meals were wholesome with second serving of everything you want except Appalam. Absolute Value for money.

Though I am from the Eastern part of the country (Kolkata), I like South Indian dishes very much, especially Dosa, Vada, Uttapam. While in Port Blair, I enquired from our cab driver (who was a Tamilian) where can I get authentic South Indian food. He...suggested this restaurant to me. In the evening I explored the area on foot (this restaurant was not far away from our hotel) and reached the restaurant. They don't have much space and I had to wait for a little to get a table. The food was delicious and the staffs were courteous. I visited there on another day, with other family members. I liked the food quite a lot. It was very economical as well.More

Enjoyed authentic South Indian food during our 3 days stay at Port Blair. From simple Idli & Medu wada to Dosa's & Uttappam's, everything was delicious. Try their 'Ghee Roast' , a variant of Dosa. Curd Rice & Sambar Rice etc also very tasty. This...place is popular among the locals as well as tourists, so sometimes, have to wait to get a table free. This place is strongly recommended for South Indian Cuisine while at Port Blair.More

We went for our 5th anniversary to Andamans. Our friends told that food is expensive in Andaman so we planned to take less adventures to balance our trip. But I think its all about having tasty food and have your tummy full.During our visit, we had one...day stay in Port Blair and this small restaurant was nearby our stay.Rather then moving to big restaurants we choose this small restaurant and trust me we don't regret it.We loves all the food options here because we tried actually all 😊.Lemon rice,Curd Rice were my favorites. On the last day of our trip we did all the adventure sports we wanted to because we were able to save money on food as we went for tasty and economical options.More

Arguably the best place for good South Indian breakfast options! We tried their masala dosa, Idli sambar and onion tomato uttapa - all the preparations were fresh and tasty. We visited at 7.30 am and the restaurant was already full. You might have to wait...if you go late in the morning. Probably they should try expanding their seating area as 5 tables would surely not suffice. In a nutshell, a total value for money affair and a definite recommendation for authentic South Indian breakfast!More

We have our food at katabomman on 25.11.2019 when we was looking for pure vegetarian restaurant. We tried their south indian thali which was Ok Ok type. It just costed Rs. 100/head but thali was having rice only and no chapati. So i would recommend...if you are looking for pure veg economical restaurant. Seating capacity is also quite limited.More

A simple and small place which serves excellent south Indian dishes. They are moderately priced. Service is fast. Management can give more attention to hygiene and also think of acquiring a large space with ample waiting place

I miss this restaurant...Superb dosa. This restaurant is in market area, you can find it with google map. It is very small and simple. We went there because it was pure veg and we were glad that we did. It is pocket friendly. If you...like south indian food thn dont miss this. Just to improvise, they can offer the service with smile(mainly when we ask for extra sambhar or chatni).More

Flight out of Bangalore is the quickest. There are ships out of Chennai if you are inclined to travel the sea.
