I am not a fan of hotel based specialty restaurants, but Pomedoro was a surprise when I first visited it 4 years ago. They have arguably the finest thin crust pizzas and pastas in Chandigarh and at very reasonable prices. The complimentary bread is fresh and tasty. Menu is a little limited. Grills are not very good. It closed (?for... More

I don't always like Indian food, so I was thrilled to eat at this nice Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend this place. I had pasta and it was delicious. The friend dining with me had pizza and it was excellent.

The restaurant is downstairs, enter through the Piccadily Hotel (it is one of the hotel's restaurants). It's a nice place - tables set nicely and very clean - and the food is prepared in an open kitchen in clear view which is great. All drinks from the bar are available to order. Wide selection of Italian dishes (veg and non-veg... More

We discovered Pomodoro by chance while we were looking for a quiet, cosy and not a run of the mill restaurant (non-Indian non-Panjabi food). Pomodoro was a breath of fresh air (even though located deep in a basement) and served even fresher food. I have not had better Caesar Salad in India. Pizzas are generally good and innovative. Pastas also... More

We've been there a few days ago on a Day Trip to Chandigarh, looking for a clean and "safe" place to eat. We had a wide variety from Pizza, over Pasta to iranian Food. Everything was at least good. If you're looking for a place with good service and italian/international Food, go there.

This is the second Italian restaurant I have been to in Chandigarh. So you would think you now have a choice apart from butter something or the other. Only to land in a tubful of cheese!! The three of us went together and ordered different dishes. Some were very good, but the pasta was overflowing with cheese. But the ambience... More

I went with a my friend in this restaurant just to introduce the Italian food, but unfortunately He will have a no clear idea about the real Italian food. Just to start I asked for bruschetta, but what they served is not the typical bruschetta but in Italy can be named crostino with cheese, capers and some vegetable. Also the... More

I decided to visit this place only after reading about the top ranking which your readers have given it. I am in Chandigarh since over 50 years, yet was not even aware of this Italian eatery. So went over last weekend with friends and tried their caeser salad (with low mayonnaise); two types of pizza (1 veg and 1 chicken);... More
