This restaurant has a nice open kitchen concept which adds a uniqueness to the place. The decor has been done up well and seating is comfortable. The food is very good and has the 'bowl' concept. Despite being a working day lunch time, the place was nearly full. The sweet-spicy peanuts was a pleasant start. We then proceeded with the prawn... More

Far from madding crowd. Peaceful place. Quick fast friendly service. Even for 2 people sharing 2 non veg starters+2 main dishes. No alcohol. Soft drinks. It is still little overpriced when the taxes are added too. Came to about Rs1200 per person!

The place was the busiest oriental restaurant some couple of years back... coming here after 3 years it wore a deserted look with the live kitchen with standing chefs. Tried the food it was still good quality... the stiff competition among Chinese restaurant has taken its toll on this place

It quality of food, the service standards and everything is still maintained since years. They also serves fresh Gourmet beers made from next door brewery Howzatt which is again part of Galaxy Hotel. Masala peanuts served at the beginning and Green tea at the end are best as their unique selling point.

We were promised authentic Asian food, in fact verbally by the manager. My Kwe Tiau was made with Phad Thai noodles and did not resemble the dish at all. The manager claimed that the Chef was trained by a Malaysian chef (which incidentally one of us managed to sample a dish prepared by him and must say that following his... More

Sunday night. 0 customers. Haunted. Food is average and so is the service. The restaurant and hotel (combined) need to do something dramatically different to attract crowd.

The food used to be really good here. The service is as before- Good. They really need to see why there is a change in taste of food. Otherwise, ambiance is great and overall 4 star kind of restaurant.

when we first visited monk a few years back, we were overjoyed at the quality of the food and the service. their meal in a bowl concept really caught our fancy. after that we went there a couple of times with some guests and sadly each time the quality of the food has been deteriorating. they have just failed to... Very good food if one is looking for authentic Chinese. Staff is courteous and helpful. Order the meal in a bowl. Udon noodles are a speciality. Must make a reservation before going or else be prepared to wait about half an hour. But its still worth the wait
