As a traveller, I usually look for the local food to savour the true taste of the place.. However at Fort Kochi one wonders what are pizza joints and momos doing here... Common guys.. we have keralities Christians and the coast.. bring on the fish.. Asking around I was guided to this place called Talk of the Town. A corner... More

Looking around for a moderate restaurant we noticed this small outlet. We decided to pop in to see what is in store for us. Its a family run business and the owner, an old lady welcomed us with a smile. There were not many guests inside but after the order was taken this lady went missing. After much hunting around... Truly fabulous tasty food. Don't be put off with the bland decor because the food isn't. A family business where they all help to spoil the customer.

I am sorry to write a bad review because the family running this restaurant is nice and that is why I dont put only one dot on Tripadvisor review. Yes, the food is rather good but the service is very long... The main problem is if you go to the toilets before eating and also lift the curtain which separates... More

We visited for dinner one night and enjoyed our meal. We had two curries, one rice and two parottas which was enough for two people (Rs360 total). All the food was tasty! It had a homely feel to it and was clearly run by a family. This is a nice place for a quick bite.

Visited here several times in 2015 and revisited again in 2016 in our recent trip. Not much to look at from outside but food fantastic. They have simplified the titles of the dishes on the menu to make it easier for tourists to understand what the dishes are but underneath is true Keralan cuisine. The Keralan prawn curry was our... As the other recent reviews state, this is a small family run business with great tasting food. Our guesthouse host recommended it both for the taste of the food and his belief that people eating there did not get sick. We loved it! Lovely people who wanted to please in a. Nice upstairs setting over the street. And the food... More

After three weeks in South India, we stumbled upon the small restaurant of Talk of the Town. The food we enjoyed there was the best we tasted during the whole of our trip. So much so that we returned to Kochi for another night at the end of our holiday, just so we could return to the restaurant. I can... More
