The food offering is huge and tasteful. Prefer Indian food over other cuisines. Its balcony has a good view to offer of the ghats. Must visit!

I would not have chosen to eat here if we weren't staying at the guest house underneath. The breakfast has a very small choice which is mainly cold by the time you get to it. The Main menu is reasonable for lunch and dinner and although eating there exclusively for 3 days we never got sick which is a bonus.... More
the food is ok, the view great, the staff very lazy. they serve for example omelettes exactly till 10 am for breakfast, then some meals you get only for lunch and some meals only for dinner. the lunch beginns exactly at 12. last year it was quite better then now.
The only nice thing about this place is what is free here, and thats the view of the river and the gates. Despite Varanassi not being the place for foodies, this restaurant should not be mentioned in any guidebooks, nor recommended to you by any guides in the city. It is not worth it, double the prices of other restaurants... More
Went here for tje buffe breakfast with my girlfriend, everything was cold and the toast was hard as stone, even the fruits had big rotten black areas once you turned them over! And the prive is 350 inr per person.. insane overprice for such bad food.. for the record im a backpacker and been to places all over india but... More
Varanasi does not seem to be a place for foodlovers. The Dolphin lives of 1time visitors and most guides seem to recommend the place for dinner. The restaurant is right on the ganges which is cool but the prices are wayyyy too high. There are so many other restaurants that are cheaper and do not rip you off so bad. Enjoy Varanasi but pass on this restaurant.
We went there twice, for lunch and dinner. They only serve tandoor food in the evening, but the rest of the dishes is also very good (mostly Indian dishes, and a few some western items). They can make indian dishes without chili. For lunch the service was ok, but for dinner staff definitely made us feel that we had come... More
