We went there today and it was closed which is sad but proprietor should at least have decency/respect for customers to update info on TA (which i have subsequently done myself) and google maps. I have no idea if its a partial/temporary or permanent closer.
we have had lunch and dinner here on many occasions and never been dissappointed. price and food quality are surprisingly good

The pasta here is the best. It’s much better than the best Italian restaurant in Kuta. Great service, very friendly and the price is the cheap too! Just a short walk off poppies lane 1, perfect for tying it in with some shopping.

We have eaten here several times and enjoyed every one of them. The food is great, the service is great, and the setting is very nice. We have tried a few different things on the menu and from our experience, they have all been dishes...we would recommend! Some reviews have said their food took a while to come out, we found no such thing.More

Have eaten here a few times in the past but this is my first review. Last time I dined here there were quite a few people 'chilling' across the alley at the Tattoo Parlour (Indonesian Subculture) who looked liked they were extras in the latest...Mad Max movie Fury Road - piercings, studs, leather, tattoos galore. Something very entertaining to behold while I ate. This time it was a lot quieter. When I arrived just after midday the waiter who greeted me, for some reason, seemed perturbed by my presence. After quiet observation over the course of my meal I realised that he ALWAYS looked perturbed. Service was friendly however and the dish I ordered (Nasi Ayam Betutu) was super fresh, served hot and spicy. Fantastic. All washed down with the obligatory cold Bintang while small beads of sweat began to form on my forehead. Spicy indeed. This all for the paltry sum of AUD$6. Worth searching for. More of a restaurant rather than a warung. They add 10% of gov tax, which is quite unusual around. Food is freshly prepared, so it takes a little while, which is normal. We took the vegan curry, was good ans tasty, small portions. No coconut...milk in the cur like they usually do in Indonesia.More
We liked the food even though it was a bit spicy, but I guess most Indonesian food is spicy. The staff are also very nice and attentive.

Based on the reviews we were expecting an awesome meal. Our meal was nice, but didn't pack the flavours we were expecting. Generous serves, cold beer, lime juice was different (not sure if it was in a good way) and good service. Waited a little...longer for food than other restaurants even though at the time we were the only people in the restaurant but we get that happens when food is freshly prepared. Perhaps we selected the wrong dishes and others would have been tastier. Would go back and try something else but probably wouldn't rush back.More
