About
To prevent the spread of Covid 19, we decided to close our warung earlier, which is 8PM (last order), we have also reduced our seats as an act of social-distancing and routinely spray our warung with disinfectants before opening and after closing. We are sorry for the inconvenient and hope you stay healthy

There are only a few tables and the restaurant is at the end of a small alley - a bit hidden, but easy to get to. The portions are rather small by European standards, but only cost around €4 on average!!! We ate everything on the Indonesian menu and were very happy with everything. Clearly recommended!!!

Quickly through Kuta, we ended up eating in a Warung, the aesthetics cared for and achieved with wide open windows and photos on the walls we liked. The food, what really matters, was fine. We ordered some meat skewers with a pretty good sweet sauce. Also another typical dish, chicken curry a'la shinta, as the name suggests curry with chicken. Besides another dish I don't remember well, a rice with thai meat. Good place to eat authentic and local food, at a contained price.

Nasi goreng with 3 satays 50K, dragon fruit juice 25K, large Bintang beer 48K. Tax and service charge included. Nasi goreng was a little spicy but delicious. The staff was friendly and the delicious smell coming from the kitchen made me hungry. Next time I'd like to order another menu.

Amazing food, quiet and cheap. 2 mains and two large beers for approximately $20aud. The portions were good and fresh and tasty. We had the basil pork and the nasi goreng with pork satay. The only issue was it was so hot and there are no fans. Not marking it down because of this as there is no control over the weather but a couple of fans would be great.

Top-tier Indonesian menu! The satay sauce is bold and grounded, while the spring roll salad is a fresh surprise in this humid weather. Buy their milk coffee: it’s Bali coffee with milk, which is a rarity in this area.

I just left this little restaurant, I say small because there is very little table .. it was super good!! The menu is varied, there are traditional Indonesian dishes and also burgers or pasta!! We enjoyed it. Here no wine but beer. The dishes are great presented and the prices are very decent. We ate a starter to share plus 1 dish each with my husband , 1 Coke and 1 beer and we got barely 13€. Top!! I recommend!! In addition it is located 2 steps from the hotel where we stay 3 days the Amnaya! So we can walk there.

My friends and I came to Shinta Warung due to the good reviews we read, and it did not disappoint at all. All of our meals were amazing (we got the chicken satay skewers, the sweet and sour chicken and the nasi goreng) and our waitress was lovely and efficient. Our friend with gluten free needs asked for no soy sauce in the nasi goreng and was accommodated with ease. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning next time we're in Bali!

Accidentally found this little gem not far from our hotel and away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Especially enjoyed the calm rustic ambience, great prices and the following meals.. Chicken satay, Fried chicken wings and Thai chicken stirfry. Also fresh juices were delicious! Highly recommend!

I've eaten here in the past and it has always been a favourite place to eat near to Discovery Plaza. Parking is a bit of a problem and the road is very narrow. I chose the Chicken Curry ala Shinta which I always like and I was not disappointed. I actually wanted to order a vanilla milkshake but when I tried to explain that I wanted it to be thick and not watery none of the staff understood as they could barely speak English so instead I ordered a lime juice which was also very good. I was there at the start of the evening and the place filled up quickly. The choice of foods is really good here and includes a variety of pizzas as well as western and local style foods. The standard is more like a restaurant than a warung and the prices are very reasonable, so I recommend this place.

While staying at the Amnaya hotel we walked past the Shinta Warung in the laneway and always saw it was packed, a good sign. Luckily we went for dinner on our first night in Kuta and found the food to be exceptional. Everything on the menu is fantastic, the food is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We dined here for lunch and dinner most days during our stay. You won't find better food than this in Bali and it's ridiculously cheap! Try it and you'll be back for more too! And, the kitchen is spotless, the staff are excellent and the atmosphere is great! I wish we had known about this place on our previous Bali holidays. John & Elizabeth Comino

Hidden down a small alley, this is a terrific local place that serves tasty and cheap food. They serve local staples such as satay and nasi goreng, but also have some good burgers and pizza. (Yes we ate here three times! lol). It is a small place (maybe seven tables?) and the food comes as they make it, so the busier they are the more patient you'll have to be. Don't expect your whole table to be served at the same time. But it was definitely worth it. So glad we found it.

One of the best Warung in Kuta. Located in a side street and 'very small and with a nice window on the kitchen where the whole family collaborates. Simple but well cooked local cuisine, cleanliness and kindness of the service boys complete the picture absolutely positive. A derisory bill for what we ate, usual Bintang to accompany the meal. Go there without hesitation. Bravo

A wonderful little wahrung down a very dimly lit alley. We’ve been twice in two days once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu isn’t huge but everything we had has been top notch…..the Lumpiah a highlight!!! I’m not sure but. Think the waitresses also cook so service can be a bit slow but worth the wait…both times we were there it was busy ( and there are a lot of very quiet places at the moment here)

We ate here twice in our recent trip. The food is excellent and very affordable - somewhat limited menu and it's only small so you might like to book ahead as we saw several people having to be turned away as there were no spare tables both nights we visited. Pork sate and chicken curry both delicious.

From my experience best value for money in Kuta. Food is delicious and nicely served. Restaurant is quiet, very local, but clean. Small - 8 tables. Staff very friendly. There is a seperate vege menu. Now to the prices. You get amazing satay from pork and chicken for 60k local money (4 euro). Other dishes are even cheaper. Been there 3 times, never waited for the table (always after 3 pm).
