We stumbled across this spot when going to Waterbom park. It is directly across the road from the entrance of the park and a great find. We went back 3 times, not just for the frozen daiquiri's- which are sensational! All the food here is...wonderful and fresh, with chicken skewers with satay sauce, amazing Me Goreng, Nasi Goreng, and Nasi Campur. The beef Rendang is to die for! Best of all the frozen Daiquiri's were so amazing and extremely large, doubling over the top of the glass. Best value and if you are visiting Waterbom park or staying in Kuta, it is a must! The service is second to none, the people who work here go the extra mile and are so pleasant.More

Absolutely Beautiful Traditional Indonesian Food

I visited the Warung Damar 2nd Day in Bali I was staying at The Bali Garden Resort next door part of the hotel. I love traditional Indonesian food well this Blu my Socks off the food was absolutely delicious I had the Beef Rendang best...I have ever tasted my friend had the Chicken Curry which she said was also delicious the staff were very friendly & happy to have a chat the health drinks were also very good I had 3 Ginger, Lemon grass & lime very refreshing & reasonably priced as was the food my Beef Rendang was 98,000 which is $9.80 Aussie money was a good portion easerly enough for for me Chicken Curry was a little cheaper again good size portion definitely coming back again. The restaurant decor was very nice with both indoor and outdoor sections under big shady trees the smoking area is outside diningMore

FANTASTIC Restaurant, Great staff, decor, and food.

I have recently spent 6 weeks in Bali and discovered Warung Darma towards the end of my stay but wish I'd done so earlier. The food is amazing traditional Indonesian cuisine and absolutely DELICIOUS! It's also very reasonably priced for such 5 * quality offerings....The staff are also wonderful and make you feel very relaxed and at home. Made the manager is always there with a great smile and advice on menu selection. A really fantastic bunch of friendly people await you there! The decor of the restaurant also adds to the dining experience with its bold colors and traditional theme. All in all, it's 10/10 from me! Delicious food, outstanding service

This spot lived up to the reviews. They were friendly & welcoming. Great options for Gluten free and nut allergies, with lots of precautions taken. Cocktails were delicious! The manager and wait staff were fantastic and checked every thing was ok throughout the night. Their...customer service was outstanding. The food was delicious, fresh and good serve amount. We ate it before taking any photos! Definitely recommend dinner here with a family.More

Birthday At Our Favorite Bali Restaurant

Local food - a must visit waring!

We ate at this restaurant 3 times over the 2 weeks we were in Bali. The first time when we ducked over for lunch while at Waterbom. The food was so good we returned the next day as it was our last day in the...area. My parter said this was the best beef rendang he has ever eaten. The staff are fast, efficient and very friendly. We snuck in our last trip to this beautiful Warung the day we flew to the airport having a meal around 3pm. It was quiet and the staff were very attentive. The food was just as delicious as our other experiences. My favourite being the barramundi. The ?owner/manager came to see us at the end of the meal to make sure we were happy, have a chat and to offer our daughter an scoop of ice cream (she must be the only child to ever decline ice cream :) Make sure you put this on your list to eat at.More

Value for food

This is one of the best Warungs I visited throughout my time in Bali. I got the Rendang, and the food was well portioned and delicious. When I went (about 2pm), I noticed a couple of families in the Warung, so I was encouraged to try,...and I'm glad I did. The prices are undoubtedly more than at local Warungs, but the value is there.More

Insane Indonesian and Balinese food and service for vegetarians.

The choice, taste and quality of Indonesian and Balinese food here was amazing. The Gado Gado and Vegetable Curry were out of this world, depth and levels of flavour insane. Love at the first experience...

Warung Damar is the most welcoming place I have been to in Bali for years... Ms Wirya and her colleague are superb, very nice and engaging. The food was excellent too... Came for a dinner and left with friendly vibes. I'm definitely coming back!

Always Perfect

We always eat at Warung Damar when in Bali since it first opened in 2004. We have eaten here for family birthdays, with friends and as a couple. A real favorite with wonderful staff.

Excellent service.

All the staff and the manager were so friendly and attentive. The food was just what I asked for (crispy duck) and only cooked when agreed allowing me to enjoy the drinks and a couple of good cocktails.
