On holiday in Sanur enjoyed a dinner at Kayu Manis. Tucked away on a side street off the main drag, a pleasant looking dining space including air conditioned room. Good service. I tried duck spring rolls for entrée and crab risotto as a main. Both delicious. Recommended.

Simply wonderful meal. The lemongrass iced tea is a must. The lobster salad was beautiful and tasty. The crab risotto and barramundi were wonderful, and the apple spring rolls with vanilla ice cream was a perfect ending. The service was very good, as well.

We had pork and pan seared barramundi. Both were fantastic. Hungry thinking about them. We had Balinese salad and the famous pumpkin soup for starters and They were both up to scratch. The chef added to our experience with complimentary mouthwatering starter, pepes ayam, warm bread and strawberry ice cream to finish. A lovely evening in a Balinese run restaurant.

This is still a relatively new restaurant in Sanur with a growing reputation that we just had to check out. The restaurant is nicely decked out and you have the option to eat in the "open" or in an air conditioned section of the restaurant. Given the tropical climate at the time we chose to eat in the air conditioned... More

We visited this place after reading the rave reviews on Trip Advisor. The Good: 1. The place is open till late. 2. Food was good overall, but I didn't find it extraordinary. 3. The pumpkin soup was excellent though. I've eaten a lot of pumpkin soup at many places, and the one here had the most refreshing mix of Asian... More

We go to Kayu Manis each time we come to Bali and it never disappoints. Great food at very reasonable prices. The specials are always worth getting. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the world. The staff are always so friendly and professional.

Despite other reviews, this place isn't that expensive. Food was of a good standard with a good selection of wine. Service was a little too leisurely for my liking. Overall, not bad.

Beautiful surroundings, great drink list (especially the cocktails) and awesome food. Lots of complimentary bits too such as ice cream and bread. Six of us ate there and every dish was magnificent. Not cheap but worth every cent. Will definitely be back!

Local eatery in Sanur close to hotels and frequented by locals, exits and tourists. Casual yet elegant and modern design with Balinese ceiling and simple cement floors. Nice menu variety and reasonable given location. Like other restaurants near the beach there is limited wine selection and focus I went with my wife, 15-year old son and 95-year old mother and... This restaurant never fails to impress. Food is delicious and service great. Staff attentive but not overbearing. Seafood soup was in a broth that was delicious and just enough for a starter. Had the sliced duck breast which was cooked to perfection. Sauce was delightful and tasty. Hubby had the barramundi which he thoroughly enjoyed. Prices are reasonable for the... More
