Followed the GRP to this place but still couldn’t find it if it wasn’t for the locals which we followed through a narrow dark alley. This restaurant is literally on stilts which seems popular with the locals. Ordered sambal black crabs, gong gong (local shell...fish) and a vegetable. The crabs were not fresh even though it came out of a tank (so we were showed). The crab tomalley was smelly and the meat was not how a fresh crab should be. Vegetables were oily and the gong gong didn’t feel good in the mouth. We felt ripped off as they knew we were foreigners. For the price of 223,000 rupiah, it is totally not worth it. Definitely do not recommend the food and the view isn’t fantastic. Place was stuffy and has no breeze. Totally do not recommend at all. I am sure other places serve better food.More

Bintan island well-known with their seafood, and this resturant serve it at its best. The restaurant "Kelong" style which means it is on the sea and the location is a bit hard to find because you need to go thru small alley behind building. Price...a bit expensive, spend almost IDR 400.000 for 4 pax with 3 kinds of main course. But worth the taste.More

Loved the food here. Awesome taste. Weekdays are not crowded. Food served promptly. It was breezy when we were there. 30mins drive from Lagoi.

A very famous local seafood restaurant. But should avoid going on weekend or special big day such as lunar new year, mother's day, etc. They served us dishes without rice. We ended up waiting for 20mins,asking the waiters for 5times only for the rice to...be served ! What worst was they din even try to inform us one of our dishes was sold out, we ended up waiting for nothing. Their excuse was they were to crowded, cudnot handle. If not able to handle so many customers, should not keep expanding the seats. Should add workers instead !More

The taste is average and not to special. And then I think the price is not fair. If I would like to score 1 to 10, I will give 3

First thing that was caught on mind is how people know that there is a seafood restaurant at the end of that narrow street (imagine only motorcycle can go in) ??? we had to ask people few times to get there and we were amazed...LOL -- since no sign or direction or any clue from the main road. one thing i know for sure,, this restaurant is very very popular! my friend who original Tanjung pinang citizen, this place never empty and fully booked during weekend! (well maybe we have not explore that much on this island) and the food was really good! The highlight was Sotong Bakar and the Steamboat, the price is friendly too! they provide free wifi as well!! superb ! i was not expecting that, the staffs also very friendly and attentive. i really have to come and have dinner in Alim Restaurant again!More

Went to Alim restaurant on Xmas day for dinner. It is worth the price and the food is delicious. Situated at the seafront with night breeze at this quiet town is a nice place to relax. It's hard to locate this restaurant however due to...its location. Situated at the end of a small alley beside a bank with no signboard at the main road. Jalan posMore

We had steamed flower crabs & local sea shells (gong gong), deep fried calamari, vegetables and they were simply delicious! And so cheap! The staff were great --- attentive and friendly. An open air restaurant perched above the sea -- slightly warm & humid but...fantastic sea view and fun ambience. Would definitely come again to try their chilli crabs, lobsters and other delicacies!More

I visited Alim restaurant in June 2015. They have life seafood dishes. I had boiled Rajungan crab, fish soup, big prawn cooked with salty egg yolk. I recommend you visit this restaurant if you happen to be in tanjung pinang I've never seen Rajungan crab...that big in my life, around 0.4 kg per crab. It's very fresh and taste deliciousMore

We had dinner there in February for 2 nights in a row... they served fresh, meaty and succulent 'Flower Crab' which is priced about $14 per kilogram, this is super value for money from where we came from. The other seafood was also fresh and...offer great value, we had the crayfish, a shell fish known as "Gong Gong" and the equivalent of sea snail... all tasted superb. This place is located next to the Tanjong Pinang Ferry Terminal. Just off a local Bank in a small alley way. So please look for it carefully. Strongly recommended to visit!More
