Yaka restaurant, what an amazing place to eat! I went to Yaka few times, and mostly for the special pizza night, and you know what? Best pizza in town! There was even a night, we ordered 7 pizza for 4 people because we couldn't make a choice, they are all super good. What I love too, is the choice of really good coktails and Aurores' cakes and dessert, mmm 😋 One of my favorite night at Yaka Restaurant, was a special occasion. Aurore organised us a surprise dinner around the pool,with so many colors, smells, the ambiance was perfect. She cooked an extraordinary dinner, so yummy. It was my best dinner experience in Lombok, for sure! Her family and the team is super friendly and take care of us, I recommend this place 200%! Thank you again guys!

Wood didn't expect Italian pasta woow in Lombok and big plus, it was angluten-free pasta option. The kitchen wasn't open but open for us. Great service and food in a cozy yard with pool. We will def be back.

A very niceful place!
Pizza cooked following Italian tradition in a wood oven and with homemade fresh product.
We tried different specialities as local food, pasta and pizza. All was beautiful prepared!

We went with friends for the Pizza party.
The place is really cozy and the atmosphere pleasant to spend your evening.
The pizzas are simply excellent!
Pina colada are good too hehe.

After trying Aurore's pizza, you'll never be able to eat pizzas anywhere else!
Traditional italian oven, traditional italian receipes and some unexpected ones like the Indian pizza which is amazing!!
The deserts are also incredible, the lemon tart and the lava cake are to die for!
Very warm welcome and a very comfy and homy feeling in her restaurant :)
Aurore knows how to make you feel like you're part of the family!
Can we please have pizza night every week!??

We had our lunch while on the way to Sekotong and rundomly stop by this beautiful restaurant. The food is amazing as very nice staff. Fauzi will make sure that you had the best meal of your holiday !

The atmosphere was so nice, all waiters were very friendly. We loved the cook Mansur cause he made tuna and explained exactly how he did that. With the open kitchen it was possible to watch him preparing the food. As a starter delicious papaya salad - and then special tuna.
For dessert Mansur made some of his special cookie chocolate slices, a special recepie of his Grandma. Thanks for the nice evening, we keep everything in mind.

The food here was quite good, but it is much more expensive than everywhere else nearby. The restaurant lacked ambience as it was very quiet which didn’t help and the pizza oven wasn’t operating that evening.

thank you for your comment which we take good notes and we want to make some clarifications.
You tell us that we are more expensive but on which elements of comparison, we can compare that which is comparable and here in Selong Belanak we are the only ones to propose a Mediterranean cuisine associated with Asia.
Cooking with imported products does not cost the same price so the selling price suffers a bit and that's why we are a little more expensive.
We select no where else, organic products, farm products or we know the traceability of the meat, that the fuits have not been sprayed with insecticides.
We are hunting glutamate, flavor exhautives, powders ... Who can say the same?
I do not think that a slab of tuna in sesame crust with a cream of lettuce and its olive oil puree can be expensive at 6 euros, there is the product, know-how and the staff pay in result.
as for the atmosphere of our restaurant, it is an intimate setting and guests rarely arrive at 19:00 to eat dinner but rather to 20h and s'chelonne all the evening, that's why you Did not find the restaurant filled but just with 3 tables taken.
In addition we want to keep a privileged setting with a maximum of 30 seats due to quality.
for the pizzeria yesterday it was Mexican night so the wood oven was closed for this reason.
this was mentioned on the blackboard outside, we try to offer you also specialties of the world and so we adapt to our customers who yesterday had made a special request.

I have been back after a year to this place. We used to eat inside the Lodge for breakfast and lunch, a beautiful cuisine from French chef. Now they even add a proper restaurant for dinner with amazing pizza made by wood oven as well as succulent chocolate desserts. The deco is art deco, I love it.

Wow... what a terrible way to treat your guests! We came for dinner and we were the only guests dining. The ambience was pleasant and relaxed. Unfortunately we were recommended the grilled mahi mahi fish and too our disappointment it was hardly even seared... completely raw fish inside that you couldn't even cut a knife through it. Well we understand that mistakes can happen and we politely sent it back to the kitchen but by this moment, as you could understand we had little appetite to be served the same fish to be grilled once more and then sent back out to our table, as explained by the waiter. Instead of making a fuss we just requested dessert instead. The bill came and to our surprise the fish dish was still on our bill even though we didnt eat it, other than discovering it to be completely raw. Head chef became very angry that we dont want to pay for the fish dish and that his boss said we have to pay because we take a bite of this raw fish! This is completely absurd and to top it off We were refused any contact with the boss and 5 men came to surround us to intimidate us to pay. Of course we paid and left from this moment. Please be warned, terrible food and hostile staff. Worst experience in all of Indonesia. Plenty of much better and welcoming restaurants in the area and cheaper too.

good Morning Sir,
I am the chef of tiki lodge, Mansur and in want to give my comment to your complain, like any good cook the fish is eaten pink. however if you want more cooked for convenience why not tell the waiter who asked you after your first stop if all was well and you confirmed " yes".
Do not want to pay when you have eaten everything and only one mouth remains very exaggerated.
When the bill arrives and we say we do not want to pay and we have no money so we settle the 100,000 in cash and you confirm i must pay in cash because i dont have enough, the rest in credit card is that we expected you not to want to pay when you arrive.
Come to the restaurant and do not have money is curious and say expensive when you take more wine twice is aberrant. I will doing what I have done better to give pleasure to people who know what good to eat means.

We had diner at this place whilst staying in the neighborhood. There was only one other table having diner, so the place was pretty empty. Food was OK. Service was extremely slow, far from attentive. There were a lot of cats hanging around. Some jumped on tables. The waiter didn't mind and just did nothing. For a place serving food, this is absolutely not done

It is true that in this season of October we have not many customers but it is all lombok which is at this moment and after the events after which we have been touched is empty.
We still have the chance to be open and to receive the best we can our customers.
for the time of service, 12 minutes for a dish kitchen that is not much, we cook by the minute and when it's simmering it takes time, it's not vacuum that we cook but fresh, a crispy sesame tuna cut with a knife and a lettuce cream sauce can not be served in 5 minutes if that's the case, it's not fresh. the same for fresh fries, minimum two baths. Eat well requires a know-how and a respect of the chosen foods.
we are a restaurant not a brewery.
Regarding our two cats, those are not stray cats but our cats in the hotel, there are not many but 2.
apologize to us if they have you timely ....
if they are on the tables, I will talk to the servers but they do not normally ?????

We went for lunch and were patched with thirst. After 15 minutes I had to go search for a waiter who eventually brought horrible herb teas which we only drank because we were desperate and the water we asked for was apparently an incomprehensible request.
Given the wait for drinks and because we had a plane to catch we tried to cancel the food order but they said this was not possible so waited again.
I ordered a vegan burger and had to laugh when I saw it was served with cheese and egg. I am lactic vegetarian so I ordered anyway.
When it arrived that's all there was in the bin, with salad. When I pointed out that a burger usually involves - um well - a burger, ì.e. a party, I was subjected to a tirade from what I guess was a manager who argued that cheese and eggs were part of a vegan diet and that Niger meant just a bun. I have never in my life had a waiter or manager argue with me and had to actually refuse to continue to speak to him.
Absolutely incredible and unacceptable.
To avoid at all costs.

thank you for your comment I take score. however, I would like to specify some important elements.
You have placed your order and 5 minutes after you wanted to cancel but we had already started to prepare and cook so impossibility to cancel because for you too long.
We took exactly 12 minutes to get out both dishes when cooking fresh is not.
you are not in Europe or a lot of things are under vacuum here we cook by the minute and make a good request a little time.
I can put your burger bread in the microwave but heat it on a low heat will not have the same effect it will be crisp and warm without being soft.
if we make home made, we do not go to waste by microwave cooking.
Ask for a herbal tea and not want fresh herbs the same.
maybe I do not understand anything anymore to the human.
As far as the menu is concerned the composition of the dishes is indicated on it, so the veggie burger has cheese and eggs in it, you did not ask that it be out from within so it was served normal.
after service say that you are vegan and no longer wanting it is another and proves your bad faith. veggie is not vegan
As far as our staff is concerned, I can confirm that they speak English and understand when asked because they have previously worked at Singapore.

When Only1invillage visited it was dinner time. The menu sounded so exciting and the surroundings were very pretty so it had to be good right? Wrong! Overpriced and small portions. Mahi mahi tartare for 90k. It just tasted of soy sauce and black pepper with a dash of lime. The special of the night had to be tried. King prawns with mustard potatoes. 3 prawns not even prince like in size, let alone king! It came with a few pieces of iceberg lettuce, lots of julienned red chilli and a sliced tomato, covered in balsamic vinegar. They weren't fresh either as they were powdery and dry. Another mixed seafood grill with rice. No flavour on the fish, squid and 1 prawn. Again, dry. Decided against dessert due to the quality of the mains.

the recipes listed are gone, mahi mahi tartare is based on wasabi, sesame oil ... our potaoe wedges are not mustard but oregano.
there is no julienne of vegetables but woks of vegetables and finally the salad yes but not ice berg.
if you have eaten us there is error on the menu ....

We were here for dinner and I had an Indonesian platter while my girlfriend had the tuna steak from the daily menu. The food was quite OK, but for the price (120k for the platter including tax and service) we expected not only a higher quality but also I expected to be full afterwards. The fish was well seasoned but rather dry. The rest on the platter was OK but not exceptional like the price indicated.

thank you for your comment which we take note and we are sorry if you did not eat enough but in a restaurant of finest dining, the portions are calibrated, 150 g of fish accompanies trim plus vegetables is the rule in restoration.
The pleasure of eating well without being heavy.
Our customers generally take flat and dessert or starter dish and dessert.

nothing to do with the proposed cuisine.
