Ayam is a chicken, and Taliwang is the receipt name of the dish. Kaangkung is a kale, and so does with Plecing. Ayam Taliwang taste so good with the Plecing Kangkung (Vegie with fried beans, coconut and chili). I really like both. But I am not recommend it to take away or reheating. The taste will be different and not... More

You'll be surprised with this menu. It was soooo sooooo hot and spicy. If you're not a groupies for spicy and hot food do not ever ordered this menu. After all, i gave 5 stars for the taste and for their service.

The best Ayam Bakar Taliwang Madu (Chicken grill with honey) i've ever eaten in Mataram. Don't forget to request Pelecing kangkung also. But you have to wait a bit longer if the restaurant full book by the travel agent.

the place is so big, and nice although open aired, but you dont feel hot, the food was standard, not that excellent, and it took long to serve, make sure you order all at once, because when you add on, you will wait quite long for it For its price, it considered to be quite expensive, and the chicken is... We went with motorbike searching for this place as it was recommended by friend. Not too difficult to get to, and we certainly glad we did. Food was excellent, taste very good. Specialty is the Taliwang chicken and the marrow satay, we ordered those and definitely did not dissapoint.

I've been here a few times, and the food is fairly good. Good selection of sambal/hot sauces and good eggplant. However, every time I've gone, the food is extremely salty. I'm not sure if it's salt of MSG, but this is the only real downside to the food. Quiet atmosphere and standard service. Prices are a bit on the high... More

We have eaten here twice in a week. Love the gurami bakar with honey, the ayam bakar in soy sauce and the terong (and normally I don't like eggplant). Very friendly family-run restaurant. No doubt we will be back again before we leave Mataram

Everytime I go here, I always order gurame goreng and sate sumsum. My fave ones! Their es kelapa muda is also nice and the price is very cheap.

Visited there on late of August, based on rave review and recommendation on wikitravel. First we had affraid cause there was not so crowded at that moment (7:30pm). But after the dishes served, we totally satisfied. The sambal is the best i've ever tasted in Indonesia. Their grilled chicked also on the top side. We tried fried cow's brain, also... More
