Glad I finally got there! Since it was a cold night, we ate inside, which is a real hole in the wall, in the best possible way. Only a few tables in an ancient building, which is not easy to find, especially on Retzif HaAliyah HaSniya, where no. 8 is followed by number 3, which is followed by number 42,... More

Incredibly overpriced - double what you would pay elsewhere for better service and food. As someone who lives in Tel Aviv, trust me avoid! Take your business elsewhere

Oh my, what a treat to meet Margaret Tayar and dine with her - it is like being in her home! We celebrated my husband's birthday there. I did not know that when I called for a reservation that they were not open at 8pm on Saturday night, December 3rd. Margaret's daughter gave me no indication that they would keep... More

The restaurant owners are jovial and enjoy cooking. I had a platter filled with colorful appetizers and fish kebab I also tried their cardomen coffee, it has an exotic taste.

Food tasted good, but it was way overpriced and something gave my brother and me food poisoning (my guess is the lamb). Would not reccoment.

I went with my family of 12 people including myself to Margaret Tayars. The waitress brought out salad for everyone which was delicious. My cousin and I do not eat fish so we both ordered lamb with cous cous. For everyone else she brought out several fish dishes. The maximum price of my meal was probably around 150 NIS. I... More

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this tiny restaurant at the foot of the Joffa old city. Wonderful seafood and cold beer on a hot day - could not have been better!

We walked from Tel Aviv to Jaffa for dinner and we wanted to eat at Margaret Tayar's, but we couldn't find it. It was about 8pm and we were about to give up when we saw the big fish atop the awning outside and ducked in. They looked like they were about to close, but they served us anyway. We... More
