Great atmosphere and price (relatively speaking), but the food was lacklustre. Menu was limited and didn't seem to be of any particular cuisine, and the food was a bit disappointing. For eg. one of our mains was essentially minced lamb mixed with rice.

Its a busy place so we decided to go a bit earlier and we got a table. It's a bit like sketch in London, different tables, cutlery, chairs everything actually which makes this place special. Service is friendly but got more and more busy. The food is good and specially the catch of the day. The street has restaurants surrounding... More

This establishment deserves its high ranking. The food is fantastic and the service friendly and efficient. Most all of the wait staff speak fluent English (our server also spoke Portuguese as well as Hebrew). You come as a customer and depart as a friend! A very interesting and varied menu. The meat is kosher, the kitchen is not. I had... More

We came for breakfast ordered shakshuka and the egg sandwich. The shakshuka was great and served with amazing warm challah bread. The egg sandwich was huge but very delicious. Coffee was strong and tasty. Would definitely return.

A nice cafe in the bustling flea market area. Very simple food, medium level, not good and not that bad. The place has nice deco and atmosphere and comparing to other places around is ok, but not recommended for lunch or dinner... Really over rated here, true the place exists for 15 years now and is a known place but... More

the menu isn't too tricky.. there aren't much options but the ones they have and we ate were great!! I had chicken breast with mushed potatoes and salsa and my friend ate the curry chicken with rice. it was absolutely delicious! And it was a great value for our money since it wasn't expensive... But if you are looking for... More

We booked in advance, which is essential for this very popular place. Puaa was one of the first street restaurants in the fleamarket, and but now there are 20 copycats nearby. My overall feeling is that Puaa has lost its edge - certainly where the range of beers, wines and spirits are concerned. The food was pretty average as well.... More

Excellent food and service, moderate prices. Had a dinner with my 78-year father and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and super good food. Thank you.

Puaa is an old time favorite, one of the first to open in the middle of the flea market in old Jaffa, just before it became ever so popular. Therefore, I salute them for the courage but also for the uncompromising quality of ingredients and variety of dishes. Anyone will find something in their menu, vegetarian or not. I usually... More
