I love this restaurant. I have eaten there many times and each time it is a treat. The Middle Eastern Salads that begin the meal are always fantastic. They will resupply them as much as you want. The main courses are huge. I only eat fish there. The selection is wonderful and cooked to perfection. Their wine list is reasonable.... More

It's a factory of salads and fishes.. they fill your table with bad quality salads to wait long for the bad oily fish dishes.... the waiters are rude... if you are really hungry and have no where to eat visit it

Salads were really good & plentiful, the view's great, the food - good. The noise....horrible. The waiters are very loud, they call each other from across the room. You get your foor fast, that's true, but...

I love this place! Great salads come with every meal, don't fill up on them. The fresh fish is wonderful. The servers are friendly and fun. Go during the week, weekends are very busy.

Great place to eat while trolling around all Jaffa. Don't expect great service, but food is excellent and plenty of it.

They start your meal with hot pitta bread and a great variety of salads and lemonade. Be careful not to stuff yourself with them. You might have no place for the main course. The best one is the KEBAB . The sight from the terrace is beautiful always, the blue sea and the skies above. Finish your feast with coffee or... More

This restaurant at Jaffa Port really only has a view of the boats, rather than the sea. The meals include a large meze of many salads, a pitcher of lemonade, and dessert and coffee/tea. Many of the salads were delicious. The grilled fish was good. Service was however appalling - the waiter would not bring the fish we asked for,... More

My husband and I ate here in May. We weren't sure what to expect but were impressed at the 22 different salads they gave us as soon as we sat down. We enjoyed our meal and at the end we were hoping to bring home what we didn't get to finish as there was A LOT of food. All of... More

They have very fresh fishes to be served on your table! I was here and sitting indoor. I think it would be much better to sit outside. They have a very beautiful view of the Jaffa port. Dozens of white yacht, people walking down the street, blue sky.. Magnificent!

Loved that the second we sat down they were placing all the salads in front of us. The only problem was not having tons of room in my stomach left for the main course. The lemonade and dessert were also excellent. Hope to go back soon.

Ernest Hemingway's 1952 novel The Old Man and the Sea depicts the world of a poor Cuban fisherman who fights the wild sea. These elements of sea, fish and noble nature have also inspired the establishment of the well-known restaurant on Jaffa's Kedem Street - The Old Man and the Sea.
