We had Groo savings meal which was very cheap. The meet that was offered was not very good but was average for the price. The first courses of salad and chapinion was very good. Service was very good.

Delightful place for meat lovers on Salame street. There's a very specific way of ordering in this restaurant, first you're taken to inspect the meat on display and pick what you want. Meaning, you can see it in its raw form and how fresh it...is, only other place in Tel Aviv that I remember doing that was the mythological Doris Katzavim before it closed. Needless to say, the meat is incredible and I'm a very big meat lover. Came in with a couple of friends for one of their birthdays and we had a blast picking and eating, a high quality carnivore dining experience all around. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, the place itself has comfortable seating and a nice atmosphere, very well air conditioned and you can tell someone cares about the look and feel of the restaurant and put effort into the design and concept. If you like meat, I recommend you visit here at least once!More
We booked a table 10 days in advance for Valentine's Day. I was very excited for my boyfriend to go there with me because I've been there many times and I always loved it. This time, we were in for a major disappointment. Our table...was for 21:30 and we arrived some 10 minutes earlier. When we just entered the hostess said some guests are late with leaving and they are sorting their shifts and we have to go wait for our table. They didn't say sorry and didn't give us a glass of wine (it's what they usually do with all guests) and made us wait in the inner yard for smoking. First, it was cold, second I don't smoke and I feel dizzy around smoking people. There were other couples waiting fort their table too. When the hostess came back to lead another couple I asked her what's the situation and we booked the table in advanced. She was very annoyed and said in a tone I can hardly call nice that she's trying to fix the problems. Basically, she made the restaurant's organization problems our problems and we don't expect that from a place which charges 150 NIS or 40 EUR for an average steak. She kept coming back and asking: who's next in line? This behaviour is not acceptable for an expensive restaurant. One couple couldn't bear with this attitude and went to make a scene - they were seated immediately. Then, when it was finally our "turn in line" we got seated very close to the entrance, it was cold and the table was for four people. I saw a table for two which had plates of unfinished food and I asked the same hostess if we can be re-seated there. She was very rude, almost shouting, said no, all tables are booked etc. I asked her that isn't it more logical for us to take a 2 seat table instead of 4 and I see empty plates there. She continued to practically shout that people sit there and they went for a smoke and if I don't like the table we can go sit next to the inner yard. She could've explain that the table is still taken but she decided to be rude. When our turn came to go to the butcher and pick meat he pretended that he doesn't speak English and didn't want to explain anything in Hebrew as well, it felt like he just wanted to brush us off. The only pleasant person in this place was our waitress, I don't remember her name but she wore a small Tous pendant so if anyone from the management reads this at least say thanks to her that she managed to pull the evening off for us. Having said all that we will never go to that place again. Such attitude isn't worth the money and aruined evening.More
Good food ,first courses and meat menu but unfortunately the service was slow, and as if we disturbed the waitress as we had to ask for thing, and not to be offered nice atmosphere,
We had a family celebration in Rak Basar, and it was indeed a celebration. A glass of wine handed to us as we walked in, all first courses and the meat were delicious and the best part- Ilanit, the waitress was super nice and friendly,...and provided first class service. We will definitely come back!More
This is a restaurant that concentrates on feeding its guest with meat. The rest is a necessity which the cannot avoid... We went there to use a coupon for various meats to be grilled and served on a portable table grill. The quantity is huge,...so you could settle with the small portion of potatoes that comes with it. The only problem is one needs something like a salad or pickles whic are not included in the deal. We renedied this by keeping a salad which is a first course - a "hill of rocula". It did the trick.More
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was pretty nice too. The servers were ok...even though there was a language barrier I feel that could’ve been a little more accommodating.
Unreal restaurant. They hand you a glass of wine right as you walk in. Unbelievable lamb chops. Spicy sausage is also incredible. 10/10 would recommend
Great service, great prices, great atmosphere. A must hit in old jafa. Mushrooms, sirloin tartar, and recommended steak cuts are great
We had an epic meal. Beef carpaccio, mushrooms for appetizer is a must. Picking your cuts of steak was so much fun and so delicious. Highly recommend. Great waitress Maria. Unlimited wine. Amazing
Very expensive restaurant, the service is lousy. We had lunch there last saturday, I found this place, in Tel Aviv, just before Jaffa. Not good value for money. Everything is extra, even bread. No salad with the meat, you pay more as you eat.
We went here with a big group. My attempt to make reservations directly wit the restaurant by email were ignored, but my daughter (who lives locally) called and that was no problem. The interior is almost like an old cave, but very warm and inviting....The service was excellent although towards the end, when the place had filled up, it was hard to get anyone's attention. And the meat? Delicious. It's a bit gimmicky to go and pick out your beef, but I liked having the choice of local (Golan) versus Argentinian ribeye. The local was very good, lots of marbling.More
Not a good value for the money. The prices are much too high without any match to it's quality. Selling 1 sausage for 40 nis ? 1kg of Picanha is priced for 360 nis ? Just another restaurant that become too greedy. Tel Aviv offers much...better restaurants, dont waste your time and money on this one.More
Best chef, best service, best time. Great for a weekend lunch, high quality food only. Found a parking in a snap. Oleg the chef f***ing rocks!
Nice ambiance, like an older place from inside, you get to choose your own steak, variety of steaks, they also offer chicken in case, they had their own wine, service was okay
