I would characterize this as a sports type bar. It's loud, large (high ceilings, noise echoes) with lots of TVs showing sports. The beer selection is good, the food good, the service unremarkable.

Although far from regulars at the Pump Station, we do visit here a few times a year. Never been disappointed and have tried several menu items from pub food to some pretty amazing dishes. Our most recent visit was on the way home from the...More

We had a great lunch stop while passing through Albany. I had a turkey and stuffing sandwich with cranberry sauce that was outstanding. I tried their in-house wheat beer and it was tasty as well. Nice decor and excellent re-use of an old industrial building.

This is brewery with a kitchen attached. We stopped in for lunch but clearly the emphasis is on the beer and the ambiance. It's a nice atmosphere and the beer is adequate but the food was a disappointment. Bacon mac and cheese had traces of...More

Pretty cool place to eat and enjoy some fine beers, I really liked the pretzel appetizer with it's dipping sauces, watch out for the Wasabi dip lol. I had a Pump Station burger and it was delicious, on another occasion I tried the Fish and...More

Great experience! It got busy so service was less than speedy but I loved the atmosphere and very much enjoyed the occasion. Great choice!

My wife and I found this place after a convention. We really enjoyed the burgers and sweet potato fries and onion rings. We also had the sweet potato/ black bean burger. The ambience was great too.

Never had one. The Pump Station has made a lot of recent changes to its menu What new things I've tried have been good, however I haven't had the bean-burger. But I will someday.

Not a private room, but two separate areas on the balcony level above the restaurant. They are sufficiently removed from the bustle of the first floor bar and dining areas that they feel quite private. Call Tim or Neil and... More
