Nice Interesting setting for a Brewery style Restaurant in the site of an Old C.H.Evans Brewery. Great pub style food with very sizable portions (Two People could split an Entree sandwich) with the Pretzel and Beer Cheese as an Appetizer.

1st time in Albany so I asked the young lady at the airport car rental for a good spot for a beer and sandwich in the area. Excellent choice. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a super beef sandwich and several types of the...More

If you looking for a fun place to eat in a historic building, this is it. There appeared to be lots of good choices on the menu. My wife and I split two appetizers which were more than enough for dinner, so I suspect the...More

The positive: cool building, hot neighborhood, free parking, good service, nice tempra-battered fish and good burger. The negative: the fries were cold, the fountain soda was completely flat and the onion rings burnt. Don’t let sub-standard food leave the kitchen! I didn’t complain because sometimes...More

I can't really speak for the restaurant, because our organization held a large event there, so our food was catered. That being said, the food was incredible, and the beer was awesome! Tasty brews for a great price. The next time I'm in the area,...More

Briefly, the food is consistently good, especially lobster macaroni and Calamari. The service, based on my last three (and now final) visits has been terrible. Waiters on all three occasions have blamed the kitchen for a dearth of difficulties. Problems have included lack of napkins/utensils,...More

I’ve been here before and while everything was fine I’d say they’ve slipped just a bit in the past year. Food (Brisket) is awesome, atmosphere is great and the building is spectacular if you are a fan of architecture and older spaces revamped into a...More

We enjoyed dinner here on a Friday evening in October. It was busy but not overwhelming and we didn't wait for a table for two. The building is historic and retains many of the architectural details from when it was a pump station. We shared...More

Never had one. The Pump Station has made a lot of recent changes to its menu What new things I've tried have been good, however I haven't had the bean-burger. But I will someday.

Not a private room, but two separate areas on the balcony level above the restaurant. They are sufficiently removed from the bustle of the first floor bar and dining areas that they feel quite private. Call Tim or Neil and... More
