Service, if you want to call it that, is slow and tiresome. Food is outdated and expensive. It may be a landmark restaurant in Albany, but if you can not meet diners demands and especially on Holidays, you might as well shut your doors. Servers...More

Been coming here on and off for many years whenever the opportunity or occasion arises. Always feel at home. Always receive very attentive and professional attention. The ambiance--old, upscale, professional Albany--can't be beat. The food can vary from good to great. But even at its...More

Dropped by this place one of the nights with friend and both of us wanted something light. The seafood trio was amazing but for me the seafood chowder served that night was sensational. It’s not the normal chowder I had before, it had some sweet...More

We had a group dinner with about 16 people this past Saturday night, and man was it good! I had a dozen oysters on the half shell that were very good. I could’ve eaten 3 dozen—easily. For dinner, I had their stuffed lobster tail. Nice...More

This is an old time favorite in Albany that proved it can hold its own from Steak to oysters. The food and service is worth the stop. The chef will bend the menu to fit your wims. If you want fried oysters just ask and...More

Jack's has been an institution for over 100 years. You might say even from its physical location at State st. and Broadway, that it is a cornerstone of Albany. Opened by Jack Rosenstein, it has owned and operated by the Rosenstein family throughout the century....More

On the street parking, and a parking garage in the rear. The attire runs the gambit from suits to business casual during the week. Its a nicer than average place so dress well but comfortable.

There are three or four entree salads and a pizza pomodoro on the menu. I do agree with the suggestion that you call and inquire. They are very accommodating.
