I arrived here by coincidence and decided to go in because of the many other guests and special interior. There are plenty of clocks inside and the ambiance is more European than Thai. The food was good as was the service.

This place was recommended to us. The chicken cordon bleu was average but the fires tasted of lousy oil. My partner had a 3 chili pasta with seafood, and all she could taste was the chilis (she loves it hot but this was an over-the-top mistake on the chef's part). The prices are reasonable and the staff attentive and smiling,... More

Aroy is located on a side street parallel to the main road. We stumbled upon it my accident and went in because of the fun decor: dozens of working clocks on the walls. Quite a ding-dong on the hour... :) The food, grilled shrimp with a delicious, quite spicy sauce, was really good. It was probably the most expensive meal... More

I concur with others' comments about being full in the evenings. I had lunch there twice, so had the experience of the bonging clocks at noon! Both my lunches were well-prepared and tasty. Like many restaurants, they didn't heat the plates prior to adding the hot food. To me, it's a sign of unprofessionalism. Service was quick since less that... More

Great food - Great staff - Clean - Great prices - Excellent value. Book or go early as always full. This restaurant cannot be beaten in any of the above. Have paid a lot more for much less than Aroy. Thanks to all staff for a great atmosphere and terrific service.

On the evening we visited the restaurant was totally full. This meant service was a bit slow and the time between receiving the first dish and the last dish was 40 minutes. However, the food is excellent value and both the foreign food and Thai food are excellent. This is an ideal place for a fussy eater who doesn't like... More

It was really busy when we ate here, but the food was really nice and very generous portions. Big menu selection and all cooked to order so nice and fresh tasting. The restaurant is full of clocks which was a bit strange on the hour when they all chimed or cuckooed!! Definatly wort a visit.

Ths restaurant has well in excess of 100 antique clocks and is managed by a horologist whose wife disapproves of his obsession. The clocks all now have a price tag. This restaurant is a very good and economical place to have an enjoyable meal. Its a pity Khun Aroi wont give me a discount on the clock I want!
