The first day I wanted to visit this restaurant I could not find it, and it actually was so easy to find; just at the entrance street to the Grand Hotel. Anyway, I enjoyed the food and it was tasty as well. Price quality i would say....YES

We stayed in next door Grand Plaza hotel and during our stay we extremely enjoyed our evening meals at The Windmill. The service provided was never experienced anywhere in Hua Hin. The chef is extremely talented and she can cook you food the way you like it. She will go extra mile without any fuss and any request is not... More

We ate here twice. The first time I ordered spaghetti with Italian sausage. It was just delivered with bacon though - and unlike the Italian version it was packed with so much chili I still felt it burn on it's way out when I went to the toilet the next day. Other than this it was okay food. My wife... More

The worst restaurant I have eaten at in years. My wife ordered a prawn salad. Great plenty of prawns, but raw and uncooked. I ordered a pasta dish, not sure what I got, but sent that back. when I did get my meal eventually it was served with a great piece of the plate broken. My wifes glass came with... More

Was here two years ago and I was about to leave a positive review. Now I am glad I didn't. Used to be such a great atmosphere. Cheaper and better Thai food in the market nearby so it's the European food you come for here, though you can find better in other restaurants. What I liked about it was that... More

As I love a Dutch meatball occasionally, I checked out tripadvisor on possibilities for this in Hua Hin. Indeed the Windmill at Soi 86 was mentioned as a restaurant with Dutch food, and I start looking for it. Not easy to find (I had to check out several times) but once found it was rather disappointing. It was located opposit... More

The Windmill is actually a very underrated spot, in Hua Hin. The menu has an evident dutch influence, thanks to the owner Eddy who is from Holland. But the chef Aoun is very versatile, and this is my favourite place for pork chops! They are excellent. No restaurant maybe, for people looking for fancy white tablecloths, but great food (and... I have been more than 10 weeks in Hua Hin, and eat most of the time by The Windmill, a very good restaurant.

In the six years we have stayed at the Grand, the Windmill been an excellent place to eat both lunch and dinner. The menu is rich with both European and Thai food, and all dishes are well presented and incredibly tasty and served with plenty of fresh vegetables. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and it's always a pleasure enjoy... More
