Try as I might, I could not find this restaurant despite walking along the road in both directions -" Ummmm Say I, ask a local" - "It go away" says a furlorn specimen. "Oh well" - lets look for somewhere else.

We ate at Captain Jacob's twice and what a great find. I had the Penang chicken one night then I tried the Carbonara with blue cheese sauce which was delicious. Generous serves. The Swedish Flag is out the front of the restaurant and it's across...the road from the Danish restaurant on the road that runs parrarel to the railway line.More
My friend recommended me to visit this restaurant, I had the salmon pasta which was really good and creamy just like I want it. Will definitely give this restaurant a visit every time i stay in Hua Hin.
If you want genuine Swedish food in Hua Hin this is the best yet and probably the best prices in town. Try the salmon pasta and call in advance for table when its buffet time (usually weekends) because its a popular event.
Welcomed with great smiles followed by amazing food. If you looking for a great meal as well as very friendly staff this is where you want go. Besides a very friendly priced menu I was lucky enough to to join them for a Taco Night...buffet that exceeded all expectations!More
The owner plans on having different food for each Saturday buffet. As advertised, for 149 baht per person! This particular one was all you can eat Tacos, or Burritos and spaghetti with either red sauce, salmon carbonara / white sauce or bacon carbonara / white...sauce. The flavors of the taco meat was like a taste from home and there were condiments of jalapeno peppers, cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and two types of salsa. There were nice flour burrito shells to make your own if you didn't want the crunchy taco shells. I was pleased to find they taco shells were not stale, but very fresh even though they were out of the box kind they were still very good. We went with friends and they tried the salmon carbonara and said it was delicious. I had the bacon carbonara and the flavors were wonderful and not over salty which is a good thing. The owner came to chat with us and said they have some traditional Swedish items on the menu and I plan on going back to try some. If they an get Tacos and spaghetti right this place knows their flavors and knows how to cook! I have to mention the wait staff was so attentive and watched when our glasses were empty and cleared away dirty items quickly while we sat and chatted over fresh watermelon for desert! Parking is a bit of a challenge, but you won't be disappointed when you raise the fork to your mouth!More
