Nice place facing the beach though view are a bit muted. Food was good as was the service. Had late lunch there and place was empty and mine was the only table there.

The view, the food, the people, and everything around here make the trip worth while. I have had many Thai seafood in many places, but this time is exceptional. They took their game to the next level. This place is a MUST in Rayong.

Laem Cha Reon is renowned for its fresh seafood, it is at a lovely location at the harbors mouth in Rayong, its open from lunch time and if visited during the day you can watch the catches being landed on the opposite side of the...river whilst dining on the freshest seafood cooked perfectly. I have also tried their branch in Udon Thani, although good their seafood is not as good purely because its so far from the coast. I have to say though, if you go to the opposite end of the beach past the PMY hotel there are many restaurants actually on the beach serving seafood straight out of the sea for considerably less money and just as good.More

The seafood is literally kept in aquariums (krabs, prawns, seabrass) and served from the aquarium.... I had a excellent experience here. The food was really tastful. Staff are very friendly (ok no English but that's no problem). Their service was excellent ! Excellent setting with...a terrace near the canal overviewing the fishermans boats...More

We had quite a selection of seafood. All were well prepared and the staff were exceptional and very attentive. Large portions of fresh top quality seafood.

Enjoyed a good selection of seafood on the airy terrace overlooking the canal with fishing boats tied up nearby.

The restaurant has a nice view and located opposite the beach. Seafood is fresh and very delicious. All the menu we ordered were yummy. The staff are nice and take good care to the customers.

If you like sea food, place to go. Unique place for eating great fresh foods ! We have tried many time. I recommend this place

Good to actually visit the original location of the famous restaurant from what I was told. The food was delicious and the service was very good as with other locations in Thailand I have tried before. What's not to like? Good location for a stroll...on the nearby beach (across the road) afterwards and as beaches go it was surprisingly clean. Was expecting loads of plastic and other debris all over the place but pretty clean really. Would definitely return if we go to Rayong again.More
