The restaurant is conveniently located by the mile long beach ( and not busy ) so we took advantage of it and turned up around 6pm to have pre meal cocktails ( they have really good Pina Colada in coconut ). They provide beach lounge chairs so we can sit back and enjoy our drinks while watching sunset. The place... More

Went there on Valentines day with my girlfriend. Nice location almost on the beach. The food is okay and average. The price is way too high for what it is. But probably because location is between 5* hotels. I'm not comming back. There are so many nice restaurent in the area serving the same kind of food for a smaller... More

Ignore the ignorant 2* review below. It's utter nonsense. As regulars of Tony Restaurant, I can confidently say that the service is excellent, always. The food is mind blowing and some of the freshest seafood on the island can be found here. We had steamed flower crab last night and the gf mentioned that it's the freshest she had in... More

Ate here a few nights ago. Ordered the Lobster Thermidor and our waiter told us it usually costs 1000-2000 Thai Baht depending on the weight-I asked for the smallest. When the bill came it cost over 65000 Thai Baht and when I complained I was told that was what my lobster weighed so be warned - make sure you get... More

I came alone to grab some sandwich before heading to the beach. There were almost as many waitress as customers, yet nobody wanted to serve me. All the waitress were gathered around the bar, joking around and talking loudly. I cannot recommend Tony to anyone. Prices are way too high for self-service diner. Would have given 1 star, but quality... More

We came across this place by accident walking on the beach. The setting is great. You can choose to eat inside but most people sit at the tables on the sand. The food is better than we have had at much more expensive places locally and they also have a good range of cocktails. Friendly service and very good value.... More

Ate here several times, particularly in the evening. The largest of the current restaurants on the beach (more accurately just behind the tree line), between the Angsana and Banyan Tree hotels. Wide ranging Thai menu with fresh fish and shellfish in live tanks. Tables amongst the trees in the sand under open skies and a smaller number under shelter if... More

Prime beach front location which had moved along the beach since last year. Was quite busy and popular with good staff levels which gave prompt and friendly service with some personality. Some tables brought their own wine and paid a corkage charge. Fish was very fresh indeed as you could have chosen your actual fish out if the tank but... More

Me, my wife and some relatives just had a seafood dinner at Tony's. The whole bill was 5,800 THB. Out of that the charged 2,800 THB (equal to almost 100 USD) for 2 ridiculously small (matchbox size) deep fried rock lobsters - or bugs as some people call them in Australia. They seriously told my face they cost 3,500 THB/kg... More
