An excellent choice found on Trip advisor in the middle of Udon Thani whilst there for a weekend with friends. Simple air con interior or street side terrace. Open view to a very efficient chef and team. House wine by the carafe and a fine...range of classic Italian dishes all at most reasonable and good value charge. Across the street also is the Brick House bar which serves excellent cocktails which are recommended before or after a visit to Da Sofia!More
Slices of carrot in a seafood marinara spaghetti?….. just weird. It’s like the chef only knows Thai stir fry and treats a spaghetti marinara the same. Look at the photo! The owner walks around in rubber thongs interfering in your conversations.
Stop and had pizza and a couple beers. Owner is really a character. Service was really good as was the pizza1
It’s like a diamond in the rough. Small, comforting and calm little bistro. I went for dinner and was the only person in the entire place. The young girl couldn’t speak any English tho that wasn’t a problem as l ordered and was hungry for...a nice Thai Green Curry. There’s old vintage cameras and very old photos to look at which was interesting while waiting for the meal. The Thai green curry was served and l thought on appearance that it was quite small. It was very flavourful tho the chicken within the dish was quite tough. Also l had so many kaffir lime leaves in the dish that l was constantly picking them out. I think this dish could greatly be improved for the price of $149b. Quite expensive for what l got. I would return and try something different.More
Great food, lovely professional service staff who even asked if we wanted starters first or all together etc. The owner came to say hello and ask if all was OK also. Really very nice guy. All round superb experience.

Had lunch there, after a visit to Udon Bangkok hospital. (Just a short walk from hospital ) The puntinesca (sic’ was superb. Pasta was aldente, sauce was lightly spiced. My wife had Thai food and said it was “Aloy”. Owner stopped to chat. Nice Swiss...guy. Will be backMore
What a great restaurant with excellent service. The owner was also up for a great chat which made our dining experience even better. We were so hungry as we had a big day on the bike and the staff were quick to seat us and...explain the menu. Entrees of garlic bread and Buffalo mozzarella salad were ordered along with a carafe of red wine. Wow wow wow…..the garlic bread was crisp and had a great bite of garlic which accompanied the Buffalo / Tomato and Basil salad brilliantly. We followed the entrees up with Chicken n mushroom fettuccine and Caesar salad and of course more wine…. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm…..the pasta had a fantastic texture and flavour… Everything at this restaurant was really really good and highly recommended.More

My birthday dinner with my wife. It was excellent, we had pasta, pizza and a salad. Pasta is home made. Absolutely sensational. We will be returning very soon. My new favorite restaurant in Udon. Lovely husband wife owners and great staff.
Good Pizza, could be a bit more saucy . Thai food also very good. Service good. Parking can be a problem.
Disappointing food. Spicey pasta not in the least spicy more a neapolitana and Mussels ordered with grilled cheese were poorly cooked as water filled the shells. Service was prompt and pleasant but the food was much to be desired. The owner was nearby I think...and he was coughing a lot. Not a great lookMore
So far the best pizza I've found in Udon Thoni! Very friendly staff and good locatiion to the bars and eateries in this area. I highly recommend eating here!
Simply exquisite. The absolute best Penne al' Arrabiata in Thailand...and have had many. Better even than in Roma the numerous times dining there. Large fresh mixed salad. Wow! In the heart of Udon Thani I and my friends visited this place 3 nights in a row. And we were never disappointed. The owner Manfredo and his wife Jum did always take time to us to speak about the imported products, wine and...even football. We had cheese n cold cuts, paste, lasagna, pizza and even Thai food. Brilliant Italian restaurant in the centre of Udon Thani selling authentic Italian food all prepared lovingly by a caring owner and his amazing, friendly staff. Pizzas and pastas are superb and many other Italian specialities are available. This is certainly one of the best Italian...Restaurants I have visited in Thailand. Good Thai food is also available and parking at the rear of the restaurant.More
