This restaurant is effectively in a glass box right on the marina so the views are great - both the marina and castle. We ate there both of the nights we were in Cesme as we liked it and didn't find anything better. The mezes are varied including a good choice of fish and vegetables, and all the ones we... More

We went to Ferdi Baba as a guest of friends for a special meal out. If you like fish the meal was excellent, a wide variety of cold starters and a good range of different fish was available. Disconcertingly there was no menu or pricing. If you needed to know then they weigh the fish and tell you the price.... More

Ferdi Baba has several venues, and Cesme's in the latest. They are known for the small plates, especially their pickled, smoked and grilled fish. They have great sardines, and wonderful pickled bass. Their grilled octopus, however, was pre-cooked, and therefore tended to have muted flavors. The location on the marina is top-notch and quite beautiful. You can look back on... More

This restaurant is always crowded and has a terrible service. It has fresh sea food but they are all too expensive. There are other fish restaurants at the region with better service and value for money.

I am very conservative when it comes to eat fresh fish. I only go several restaurants for very long time. Ferdi Baba is one of it. It becomes very popular after opening second location at Alacati Port, but I would suggest you to go its orginal location at Sifne. Very broad array of fresh fish and appertizers. Both places have... Visited Cesme to meet friends' relatives - Hasan and Neslihon. What a treat!!! Not sure if we got a special treatment because we were with locals or because they spoke Turkish and ordered the right items on the menu. Started wine and raki with a shrimp appetizer-wonderfuL! Had grilled squid with ink and octopus. Fresh and delicious. Big mixed salad... More

The food is fantastic. It is like your mom opened up her home for visitors to pick from the menu of the day.
