A must place to visit ! Lovely views and sweet experience. You can go for food or drinks and even shisha. I'd give this place a 5 rating but it didn't really offer any vegetarian options.. But my pasta was a good healthy portion! :)

This historical free standing lift (Asansor) is one of the must see attractions of Izmir. Amazing city views. There is a cafe and a restaurant at the top, run by local government. I have been to the cafe first and had a beer with some snacks, service was borderline rude but sunset was amazing. Went to the restaurant few nights... More

At first, I wasn't sure abour eating at a touristic place but then I tried their pasta and it was delicious. Plus, you can watch the beautiful view of Izmir Gulf.

We just sit down for a coffee at the top of the Asansor. View is nice. Good place to get rest. Service not bad at all. Need to be done when in Izmir.

The view is exceptional, really worth it. There are two cafes at Asansör; the municipality is managed them. Thats why the prices are low. Location is easy to find a way. Indeed, strongly suggested with many aspects.

Such a nice place and history here but unfortunately not clean not well presented etc. Sad - so much potential wasted - in this way it's just a boring elevator drive...

The restaurant (not just the coffee are adjoining) offers traditional Turkish cuisine in a very special hall, and of course a breathtakin view. First mezze dishes are special, and fishes were good, steak just average. Fruit desserts excellent. A bit expensive, but special

I have to admit that the view from this restaurant is breathtaking.. You have to take a long elevator to get to the top where you get incredible vistas of Izmir's coast.. The wait staff is extremely polite and professional and definitely a great experience to be in this restaurant.. However, the food itself is quite mediocre.. The starter dish... More

Pizza, spagetti and hamburgers are low quality, mainly frozen food origin, but having a coffee with a good sea view may worth to stay
