As a group of mixed ages with 2 small children we visited this very popular restaurant early October 2016. To be fair it's more of a "shack" with outside space. Our order was taken by a very helpful waitress who offered bug spray as we were getting bitten. Our food & drinks arrived promptly and we're all delicious. The lobster... More

I love lobster rolls. I try them everywhere I go and am always searching for the very best lobster rolls. I have tried tons of lobster rolls over the years and I can confidently say that the lobster roll here is among the very best I have ever had. The classic cold lobster roll here is perfectly done. It has... More

We stumbled on this restaurant after a long drive toward Montauk, so we did not know anything about its famous history and long list of celebrity patrons. The diner style decor with patriotic Christmas lights surprised us. If you love creamy lobster bisque with chunks of tender lobster in it, then this is the place to goon a rainy cool... More

This place, locally known as Lunch, is a local landmark and for good reason....its famous lobster rolls. They are delicious and set the standard. The dining area has a beachy, diner feel which is perfect. My husband started with the seafood bisque and it was rich and delicious. I liked that they had 1/2 portion appetizers available and I took... More

The food was good but not $70.00 worth for two lobster rolls, I've had better. The atmosphere was better then the food. Service was great, we ordered and got our food in 10min so if your in a rush it a great place to stop.

Basic decor, roadside diner like service, but quick and efficient, call ahead not, open all days and sometimes closed for filming. Not cheap, but the lobster roll was heavy on quality lobster meat and light on the mayo, great fresh bun, washed down with a cold beer, no complaints! Yes the roll was $25, but soooooo worth it!

My husband and I make a very good living and I am not easily shocked by prices... but when my order of one lobster roll , a small salad with a scoop of lobster salad and a cup of clam chowder, amounted to a bill of 67.18... i was truly floored. I love to watch The Affair on Showtime and... More

The staff were all very friendly and the food was REALLY good! It was a little pricier than we anticipated but overall it was a great experience! Definitely get the cold lobster roll. I had both the hot and the cold (yes, we went twice!); both were great but the cold lobster roll was perfection. It's so laid back there... More

This iconic eating establishment is a must do while in the Montauk area! It is spacious but gets very crowded. Food is good with large portions.....but their prices are a bit high.....even for a tourist destination. Famous for their lobster roll, be prepared for a hefty bill..... $25 per sandwich (Sept).....adjusted to market price. Menu touts dozens of celebrities who... More

Great service and good food. A bit too much emphasis on the show that was recently filmed there. We usually stop here when we come for a weekend for a lobster roll, blood orange margarita and soup. Sometimes it's a bit too crowded though.

The Lobster Roll Restaurant, also known as "Lunch", is a nostalgic beach shack serving lunch and dinner to locals and guests from around the globe. Our critically acclaimed family restaurant serves beach-side favorites like lobster rolls, chowders, steamers, fresh seafood, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, steak and homemade pies. We also feature a full-bar, gluten-free menu, and an extensive children's menu.

Our famous lobster salad is made with 100% pure cold water lobster meat, using the same recipe we created almost 50 years ago! Our lobster salad contains no imitation seafood products, no fillers, no preservatives, and no artificial flavorings. It's all about quality!

We have indoor and outdoor seating amidst sand dunes, gardens of summer flowers, umbrellas, beach balls, picnic tables, and plenty of smiling faces! By popular demand, our entire menu is available for take-out. We can also cater to you!
