Had the best cuppacino and chocolate cake at Ganache in Colonia. Very friendly staff and between pointing, broken English and spanish I got what I ordered. They also roast their own beans there and do coffee making demos

In Colonia as a day trip from BA, the coffee in BA can be hit and miss. The coffee we had at Ganache was easily the best blend we had in Uruguay or Argentina. Coffee is nice and velvety taste, with a bitter finish that is not overpowering. This is what quality coffee be like. Staff are friendly and the... More

I've travelled quite a bit in South America , but spoiled as I am from home, I'm always looking for that barista coffee. Hard to find, but here it is. Cozy environments, sitting out in a beautiful street

Nice little cafe with good coffee menu and cakes/snack selection. Inside there are nice little games etc for kids to play with which is nice. Some seating outside too.

Love this little place. A good cup of coffee, recommended by my local friends. Dessert is always good here as well.

The place is small but charming with a nice looking tree with lots of flowers in in front an over some of the tables. Plays some nice, low music. The service is like some friend were preparing something good for you. I only stopped briefly to eat some empanadas and a local beer, didn't enjoy the coffee or other food.... More

We had a great breakfast there, staff were very polite and friendly and the portions were big enough.

I tried their Ethiopia blend, toasted by themselves. Was great! Intense flavors and a soft ending. In a sunny day I recommend to stay on the tables outside and in winter/nights to take one inside close to the fireplace. Fantastic place!

The place is tiny and cozy, with some books and a fireplace. The food and coffees are good, but a little bit expensive, but you have to eat there when you are in colonia.

Had a little bit of a sweet tooth and looked up the places on TripAdvisor to get a quick coffee and snack. Was very glad to find this place. You'll walk right past it very easily because there is no huge sign for it unless you spot the menu stand outside, which is how I found it finally. It's packed... More
