Charming cafe located just outside the historic district. They have a few tables on the street. We stopped for a late breakfast. The food was good. The service was leisurely.

This cafe looked nice from the outside but we were a bit disappointed with it. Everything was very overpriced (like most cafes in Colonia to be fair) and the food was average. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich with hummus, egg and veg, and it came out with no hummus! This was the only reason I'd ordered it (you don't see... More

Not pretentious, good quality, home-made food. An oasis in a very touristic place. I ended up going there several times and never regretted it. Great empanadas and tartas/quiches.

Dropped in for lunch today after a day trip over to Colonia from Buenos Aries. Real coffee, lovely home made juices, I had the one with blueberries! A great couple of sandwiches with fresh bread and top local ingredients and home made relishes. Also had the option to pay in either argentine pesos or us $ which really helped! Thanks... More

My husband and I looked for this restaurant after seeing it on trip advisor. Patricia was so gracious and inviting. Her empanadas are the best, crust so flaky and light. We dined on 4 empanadas and 1/2 liter of wine for 260 U pesos. Such a nice lunch. Came back the next day for more on our way out of... More

It is located right on the Ciudadela Wall. The tables are put under lovely trees and the attention is very good. They have tasteful empanadas and the real iced tea is served in cute china. The menu is very restricted, but La Bodeguita is a lovely place to stop for a quick snack or for refreshments after walking on the... More

Great little cafe off the beaten track next to the old city gates. Well worth the search to find it.

Best food and service you can find in Colonia, I had lunch there today and it was an excellent experience, cozy atmosphere and natural high quality ingredients, prepared and served by the owner as if you were a house guest in her living room! You can shop jams and wines too! Lujan
