Great selection of both traditional and western dishes. Best Cao Lau in town. Very inexpensive. The fresh fruit juices are great.

We popped in for a drink and ended up having Nem (fried spring rolls) and we were glad we did. They were excellent. Good price for both drinks and food.

I tried the wonton noodle and it's not good at all, very bland and flavorless. The portion was small too. The old lady didn't return my extra money (2K dong) and just stood there sucking on her lollipop. She charged me 3K for some iced tea, and when I gave her 5K, she didn't give my 2K back and just... It's a no frills experience in the Old Town with taste of local food. The setting has fan and we enjoyed the lantern decor. We ordered Pho and Cau Lao; Pho was simple, Cau Lao I really enjoyed! It came with crackers which were cooked in Pork fat and had the Pork scratchings effect: they were the bomb! At 30,000... More

We wandered in here on our first night in town because it looked busy with locals. I honestly think the other customers were actors as they all got up and left soon after we sat down. I had the 'a little bit of everything' platter, with spring rolls and white rose etc, while my boyfriend had fried noodles with prawns... More

There are many better restaurants, this is definitely a tourist trap designed to grab add much passing traffic as possible but with no desire for any repeat cuisine customers. We definitely won't ever go back

We went to Van Loc for lunch and ordered the Cao Lau and White Roses, two iconic Hoi An dishes. Both delicious, for reasonable prices. The restaurant is in the heart of the ancient city, making it a good stop for a meal while visiting the area.
