If you need a break from Japanese food, keep reading. Otherwise go look for a sushi place. We went there for a change, and also because we love pizza. All in all it was good. I've definitively had worse pizzas. So I would recommend. Just know that the pizzas are small : 20 cm diameter (I put a pen for... More

We wanted a break from Japanese food so we to Cafe Arco Mercato. It's a small Italian place with tasty food and good service. We had spaghetti, a salad and dessert. The spaghetti could have used a little more seasoning but was okay. It's not a must go to place but if you have a craving for Italian, it's worth... More

Don't expect high class Italian, this is pretty basic by European standards but the pasta was hot and tasty and it made a welcomed change from fish! And if your order one pizza and one pasta be prepared for the pizza to come first with 2 plates. Confusion all round but that's part of the charm

Me and my wife have recently visited this restaurant for dinner because we were in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately this restaurant didn't fully meet up to our expectations. The food was very basic. Price/quality wise you will probably find better alternatives.

After several days of traditional Japanese meals we had pasta at Caffe Arco Mercato. It was a nice break but nothing to write home about. Everything was average.

English menu. Pasta done perfectly am dente. Tomato sauce like in Italy, perhaps because Japanese tomatoes thrive in volcanic alluvial souls like their Italian counteparts. Quick service. We were looking for a quick simple meal without alcohol, and we got it. Only drawback -- an occasional wisp of smoke infused into the non-smoking section.

We ate here with several folks from our tour group looking to pass on Japanese for one night. The Mercato is in a good central location, and busy. It has a typical American Italian restaurant menu, but this is not sophisticated Italian cooking. I had chicken pieces cooked in a balsamic vinegar sauce. Very plain.
