This cafe is famous for its giant cream puff and romantic interior. We ordered the chocolate flavor cream puff, an ice cream sundae, hot chocolate, and coffee. Beware of the strong kerosene smell inside

Don't waste your time here. Awful coffee and expensive. On top of that, self service. Was surprised she didn't ask me to wash the dishes!! 1300 yen for 2 coffees and cake. Hmm

Had lunch on a snowy day. You have to order your food at the counter, bring the ticket to the cooking station then wait your buzzer to blink. It's self service and you will have to clear your tray. I had the fish ramen and it was average and quite overpriced for that small portion. I liked the decorations and... More

Found the place by chance, while looking for shelter from the snow outside. Lovely ambience. Order at the cashier, look for a place to sit and then collect your food from the counter later. Kids loved the cream puff - they claimed it was 15cm in diameter!

This lovely cafe is located in an old warehouse, which is listed as a historical building site. I fumbled upon it by chance, while exploring the various buildings on the vibrant Sakaimachi street. The cafe was dimly lit with tiny starry lights which created a cozy and romantic atmosphere, especially when it's snowing and cold outside...it gave me the warm... More

Disclaimer: we didn't actually dine here as we arrived just when they were closing. The rating is for the ambiance, and romantic setting of the place. We managed to take a few quick pictures before leaving but we regretted not finding it earlier. Seemed like a very romantic place. However, the neither the menu nor the pictures seemed interesting. Would... More

Was taking a rest in this cafe after my long in Otaru. I have a cream puff and coffee. This is one cafe that you cant find anywhere, the moment you walking you could smell the kerosene lamp and soft music playing. At first I thought it was play through some music player. However, after I settle down then i... More

It wasn't really the food that we came here for, but the coffee and parfait were quite good. It is a little hard to find but persevere. It is next to the glassware shop of the same name and down a small passage/alley. The building is an old stone ex-warehouse with high beamed ceilings and has no external windows. So... More

Was looking forward to it since it was #1 on TripAdvisor but realised it was probably due to the decor and ambience of the place. The good: it was very romantic with all the chandeliers and kerosene lamp. The piano performance was an added bonus. Food: ordered an Azuki parfait. Very, very average. Too sweet for me too, as compared... More

We stopped by for a cuppa and shared they strawberry, green tea cake which was lovely. Warm, cozy ambience with kerosene lamps (including 2 gigantic chandeliers) and wood as the key theme to the ID.
