Good value for money compared to Suiten. Service is fast, food is delicious, free flow of miso soup & green tea. Be prepared to wait for more than 30 mins. Fortunately, there’s a sitting area with heater where patrons can wait in comfort. Highly recommended.

Came here after a day out and returning from Yufuin. After all the great reviews and “long queues” feedback, we decided to drop by during off peak hours like 4pm, on a Monday. We were 5th on the waiting list, and had to wait for...around 20mins. Once seated we were so hungry and went for the free miso soup. After downing the warm soup, we quickly ordered the sushis from the menu. All came out very quickly. One thing about this place is that the sushis are huge and the fish are all very fresh. For the price, it is definitely worth it. All in all, we had 9plates of sushi of varying prices, and the bill came upto ¥2400 for 2pax. Well worth it!More

The Sushi in this restaurant is not turning on a belt. You can write down your order on an order sheet. Their pieces of fish are cut very generously, and they taste good. However, you have to wait for a long time before a seat...is given. As a casual revolving Sushi restaurant, the ambience is not really laudable.More

It is a basic conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but to get in you have to wait a while. We arrived at 11:15 (you need to write your name on the waiting list and they will call you once your turn is approaching). We were finally...sat at 13:20, in between we managed to get to one of the local onsens. The food is all worth the wait, the cuts of fish for sushi are very large and super tasty. Their chutoro is as good as Otoro and is very fresh. Staff is extremely efficient in their job. All in all fantastic culinary experience, if you are prepared to wait.More

Sushi here is super generous with portions. Not to mention freshness and quality served. We went there right at the opening. ( they do have tendencies to run out of their popular items) so we stood in line for little shy of an hour and...was seated. Free miso soup is great but the sushi... stunning good. Super reasonable parking is almost impossible. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants great sushi.More

I liken this to getting a big juicy hamburger instead of a fancy steak. The rice falls apart (shouldn’t happen with well-made sushi). The fish is often very chewy (also shouldn’t happen with well-made sushi). It’s large slabs of fish—which isn’t really the point of...nigiri. But it was tasty, filling, extremely inexpensive for what it was. We got the deluxe platter for the equivalence of $14 USD each and then ordered a whole bunch of nigiri separately. We got there early, maybe 5pm, waited about an hour. They were out of a *lot* of the fancier fish—like uni and fatty fishes. Still. Miso was self-serve and delicious. Hot green tea was self-serve and quite good. Ice water also self-serve. We seemed to be the only foreigners, but that may have been because we were there the day after a typhoon. The staff was quite nice and able to cope with our poor Japanese language skills, and we were even able to order on their order sheet in English with no problems.More

The sashimi sets offer good value for money. The chutoro is generously sliced and tasted very fresh, so is the Aji. Love the chucky portions of uni which is fresh. Attentive service. Miso soup is tasty and free of charge. Long queues at lunch time...so be prepared to wait.More

Surprised by the quality of the sushi compare relatively to the price, a must visit. Was here at 3pm, the car gps somehow didn't bring me here, had to asked for direction, only waited for 5min.

If you want fresh, thick and I mean *thicc* pieces of sushi melting in your mouth while paying a reasonable price, here is the place for you! The sushi is wonderful, along with free miso soup and excellent gari. As a local, I recommend coming...here around 3~5PM during weekdays, guaranteed immediate seats. Less people better experience. Not recommended for large group because the place is small and only have 4 tables. If you hate waiting, don't ever come during holiday season. The place is so popular and you will wait endless hours before you can even get in, sometimes the good sushi neta such as chuutoro or sekisaba and sekiaji (Oita's specialty) will run out as well. Usually the staff are pretty nice but it could get so busy and it would take a while to get their attention if you are shy like me as well.More

It is a busy place even in off season, with a good mix of locals and tourists. It took us about 20 minutes to get a table, and were served immediately upon sitting down. We went with the set as this gave us a good...sampling of their offerings, and we were not disappointed. The sushi was dleicate and the servings large, even huge might apply, delicious and fresh. The service was great and when the bill came the price was equally as good. It was so good we walked from our hotel on a Wednesday afternoon for a repeat and a deeper dive into the menu, to our regret they are closed on Wednesdays...I suggest eating early to avoid the wait and eat until you pop, it is that good!!!More
