My sister and family took my husband and I to Sam's Anchor Inn for dinner. It was the most wonderful place. The atsomphere was great. You walk in and you're instantly put into a different world. The tall stairs are lined with business cards from all over the world. When you make your way into the restaurant you're greeted by... More

Highly recommend, yes it was a bit pricey but honestly well worth it. My kids loved the place, drinks in skull glasses were big hits. The food was wonderful, they spoke English, took credit cards, and most tourist brochures have a coupon. Parking in no problem. We went right when the opened for dinner since we didn't have a reservation... More

Our family of 5 loved it! We showed up without reservations right at opening time. We got a seat right away but it filled up quickly. They spoke awesome English and were super nice to our kids. They had a kid menu and the kids got their drinks served in a skull cup which was awesome. The food was cooked... More

We enjoyed a good dinner at Sam's. The restaurant is built as the interior of a ship and hawaiian music is played, quite a nice atmosphere. The food was fresh and well prepared.

We (3 adults and a baby) pre-purchased "steak" dinner sets here as part of a local company's one-day tour package, and the tour company made the dinner reservation for us. Upon arrival, the staff spoke very little English and for some reason took a long time to find our reservation. Finally, we were ushered upstairs to the second floor, which... More

Love the food here... The lobster is so fresh. The Wagyu beef is so good. The service is good. The chef is skilful in the way he cooks.

This is my first time dining at this place. The price is decent enough for what it offers. Service is good, but you can sometimes hear 2 chefs complaining to each other while cooking for different tables. The chefs perform some nice tricks with pepper holder but I don't think it's really necessary because the food is good enough for... More

First off, it was a really fun environment. It almost looked like you were in a pirate ship. The wait wasn't too long to get seated about five minutes (although we went on a Tuesday evening, i'm sure the weekend nights are worse.) There isn't really a huge drinking menu if you're a drinker. However, if you order a drink... More
